Take care in Hanoi... The oficial tourism office in the airport in Hanoi recomended us this hotel, showing a beatifull brochure with nice pictures, clean bathroom, lake view and good price. But in the real life: six floors, no lift, no help to carry your baggage up or down, dirty bathroom, fungus in the walls, bad smell bedrooms.... the staff...

This hostel has excellent location with sucks staff~! The price quoted for the optional tours are much more expensive than others. They can transfered you with your big luggages by the motorbike to the train station. Never ever ask their staff to carry your luggage as they will ask tipping in USD from you....not USD2...they will ask for more on...

First, they completely forgot to pick us up at the airport as arranged in advance and finally sent someone only when we called to check on what was going on. We hadn’t finished checking in when the tour desk guy tried pressure selling us tours in and around Ha Noi. Later, we asked staff to check the heat in our...

This hotel is situated in the old quarter of Hanoi and has great potential. The rooms are clean and the complimentary breakfast and internet service are good additional services. What is not so great is the offer of transport from the train station which does not happen, the excessive way in which the Manager tries to sell day trips and...

They placed us at this hotel for $30/night (for two) versus the $40/ night that they had charged. This hotel was definitely a step down in certain ways but, in other ways, it was an...
