As other reviewers have noted, this hotel is located in a great part of the old quarter, a five minute walk to the lake. Our room on the 5th floor was clean, bright and quiet - there's no elevator though, so it was a workout to get to the room! We were upgraded to a deluxe room; I think that...

We only had a one night stopover in Hanoi on our way back to Australia and stayed in this hotel due to the good reviews and the reasonable price. We arrived quite late in the evening (10pm) at the hotel and our flight the next morning was leaving Hanoi at 9.30am. First of all: the rooms were clean and as...

Initially we were excited to stay at Rising Dragon based on our friendly greeting by hotel staff. The room was adequate for the price but then 7am came... Drilling, painting, music from painters, excessively loud conversation - no considersation was taken by hotel staff for the guests. After informing the staff of the noise we were assured construction was complete...

We stayed at the Rising Dragon for 2 nights on arrival to Vietnam. The airport pick-up was great after a very long journey and the staff were very welcoming on arrival, and not pushy at all about tours etc but happy to give recommendations when asked. The room itself ($22 a night) was small but perfectly comfortable and clean, although...

Very, very friendly staff!!! They speak very good English. They booked us for a two-night, theree-day trip to Halong Bay (which was very nice) and they also booked us a night bus from HaNoi to HoiAn - both for a very reasonable price. The Staff was very serviced-oriented; they gave us good tips where to make shoppings and where are...
