The worst hotel I stayed in on my trip through thailand, cambodia and vietnam. Stayed there on a trip with Intrepid. Luckily we got moved after 1 night to another hotel as I had beetle things running around my room and some girls in another room had some food eaten (teeth marks looked like a mouse). Staff were uninterested and...

Gloriously huge rooms and high ceilings - but it all went downhill from there. Very noisy, stale smelling, mouldy and rarely cleaned bathrooms, NO water in shower/bath, 30% of lights in room work so dull, and rude reception staff - they 'forgot' to ring for an airport taxi. Breakfast was okay. Apparently this hotel is soon to be torn down...

We spent several days at the Volga during our recent trip to Vietnam. We found the hotel to be well located and very comfortable for a three star hotel. The rooms are clean, reasonably large and the beds very comfortable. The staff speak English well and were helpful. Rooms are equipped with split system air conditioners, a TV with many...

We stayed here as part of a group tour, and the double room spacious. Strong cigarette smoke wafted in through the door/windows/air con, and the bed was quite lumpy. No lifts, but the porter helped with bags when he wasn't listening to his iPod... Bathroom was clean however the hot water ran out quite quickly. A DVD player was lent...

The hotel is located in the modern district of Hanoi & costs 70000 dong by taxi to Hanoi's old quarter, the most enchanting part of Hanoi. The rooms are very large and relatively cheap. They are air conditioned which is imperative for Hanoi. However, many of the globes in the room simply do not work. Some of the rooms do...

I have stayed at the Volga hotel on two occasions. It is clean and very comfortable. The breakfast is typical Vietnamese and good especially the soup. I would recommend this hotel for someone who wants clean room for a good price. Also the hotel staff took care of my suitcases when I left town for a couple of days.

I stayed at this hotel as part of an Intrepid tour in August 07. It is a good basic hotel, the rooms are huge, beds are really comfy - which was good thing after a 15 hour overnight bus ride! It's nice and clean with good air conditioning in the room. The main area is not airconditioned so it can...

We stayed here as part of a tour group in July 2006. It is nothing to look at but it was clean and comfortable and the staff were really friendly. I have recommended it to my friends who don't want to pay alot for accommodation. We were a family of three and had a very large room which was really...
