I can't speak highly enough of this hotel. Upon entrance we were greeted with a complementary drink ad Thomas told us a little bit about the area and gave us some tips on avoiding the motorbikes! The rooms are a decent size, bathrooms small but enough space and nice and clean. There was a good choice at breakfast and we...

This hotel is small and in the heart of the Old Quarter. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. The rooms are very nice and clean and we enjoyed the breakfast. Where else can you stay where the staff knows your name even when you only stay a few nights. Upon checking in, someone sits down with you and explains...

This Hotel is very modern and located on the best part of Hanoi, in the old quarter. The Service Level is very high, staff very friendly and open minded. They help you in any questions on any time of the day. I would definitely recommend this Hotel for Hanoi and will stay there in the future again.

Super friendly staff, very nice rooms, especially the bathrooms, and great breakfast (eastern and western)! They made us feel just like home! (you don't need a window, it's noisy and smelly outside anyway)

The hotel is conveniently located right in the heart of old Hanoi. The staff was very gracious. And our room was absolutely clean and beautiful. Leo at the front desk gave us great advice on how to spot counterfeit jackets while shopping. They arranged transportation to the airport (nice private car). Since it was an early flight, they opened up...

If you want to go upscale with still being affordable, this is the pace. The level of service far outpaces the ratings. The property is clean and relatively simple. You can walk to all major Hanoi attractions from here if you plan on walking. Breakfast is unbeatable, made to order eggs each morning or a more traditional Vietnamese breakfast is...

The staff is so amazingly welcoming here! They made sure our stay was comfortable and the rooms are really well maintained with nothing reflecting the outside hustle bustle of Hanoi. Small gestures of packing breakfast for our 5 am flight and buying us tickets for local activities go a long way. We left with a souvenir gift of a local...

This hotel is a gem in Hanoi's old quarter! I can't recommend it enough to any tourist in North Vietnam. It's very well located, room are very comfortable with an amazing bed and excellent shower. Very clean and super fast wi-fi! It has a delicious breakfast with buffet and a la carte options (hot sandwiches, scrambled eggs, etc). But the...

In general, Hanoi is known for it's boutique hotels scattered around the many prime tourist areas. They do have large chain hotels as well but if you are visiting Hanoi, stay at one of the local run boutique hotel. They are surprisingly good. But be wary, some are old, dirty, full of bugs and poor services. Best is to read...

We stayed at Oriental Central only for a night. The room was comfortable and well furnished. The staff, especially the manager - Ms. Mary - paid special attention to us, giving us directions, arranging premium seats at the Thang Long puppet show at short notice, guiding us on vegetarian restaurants for dinner etc. The hotel is located in the old...
