Wonderful location in Hanoi. Close to a multitude of restaurants and shops. Easy and safe to all around the surrounding areas. Rooms were comfortable with good showers and strong Wi-Fi. Breakfast was good value. Staff were helpful.
The hotel was clean, even If not modern. The staff were exceptionally helpful. The stairs were a challenge after a long day sightseeing. Charming location near excellent restaurants and within walking distance from the main museums.

We came by this hotel by chance walking through the Old Quarter in Hanoi and they were able to accommodate us immediately, albeit in a small room on the 6th floor (no elevator).

the ones ive got to chat with who were also staying in the hotel are travellers. i think its very safe and there was even a dutch couple who are off to northern parts of vietnam for a couple of days and they left their bags... More
the ones ive got to chat with who were also staying in the hotel are travellers. i think its very safe and there was even a dutch couple who are off to northern parts of vietnam for a couple of days and they left their bags with the hotel. as i understand there are two sections the newly renovated and the older one. we stayed the one which was currenrly renovated and its like a 4 star hotel back at home
