i am giving his hotel 4 stars despite the fact that it might be a little bit grotty for some. There was the odd loose tile and a cockroach here and there, but the room was spotless. The staff were wonderful and the breakfast superb. This hotel is right at the northern end of Lake Hoa Kiem amidst all its...

Let me put this into perspective for you: we received incredible service our two nights and then finally the day we checked out we left our bags with the boys for the day as we had a train to catch that evening. Upon arriving back to grab our bags we sat for a few minutes to relax and they rushed...

Blue Moon hotel was just your ordinary hostel, with very nice location and nothing fancy room and decoration, but even at a cheap price the hospitality here were so lovely. Friendly reception, prompt service, nice breakfast, clean and tidy room with exceptional access to the city central and visiting spot - I only booked here because nowhere else was available...

Even for a hostel, the room service and quality in Blue Moon was still very good for the amount of money I paid. Furthermore, the aspect that I liked most here was their location - just cross the road and you'll be in Hoan Kiem lake, the center of the tourist activities in Hanoi. Also right in the front of...

The price range here was FANTASTIC, we got a nice double room with balcony that overlook the central lake nearby for around 30$ - breakfast included!! Moreover, what made this hotel really different is the service itself - sweet, friendly receptionist; helpful bellman - all this little small thing really enriched every precious moment of our journey.

We booked a double room at this hotel at unbelievable rate via booking.com, with breakfast and a spa voucher included. And even at this rate, we felt totally satisfied with the service provided - nice room, good breakfast, friendly attitude. Not to mention that there were lots of nice street food around!

Nice room, with great package tour offered here! Our families of 3 did a Halong Bay tour plus a day of city tour and it was great, with good arrangements and the guide was excellent. The hotel staffs were also very devoted, but it was such a pity that it didn't had an elevator.

This hotel had the best a budget hotel could possibly offer. For less than $25 we got a really nice room, spotlessly clean with breakfast included.Their staffs were very accommodating and more than that, they got an unbelievably good location right at the heart of Hanoi old town - you can reach the famous Restored Sword Lake in a few...

- Nicely located at the Old Quarter area. - Extremely convenient for sightseeing or shopping, as there were a lot of landmarks ( Hoan Kiem Lake, pagodas ... ) and shopping area around. - Wonderful price and good services & enthusiastic staffs. That was my experience here in short.

Really, this hotel exceeded all of my expectations. While booking and especially after stepped inside the hotel, I thought this was yet another mediocre hotel which is only clean enough for sleeping for a few nights (cause I booked in a really hurry) because this looked a little bit small and below average from the exterior. But after staying for...
