Stayed here one night. The room was only alright and felt a bit musty. We arrived at the airport with a hotel pickup but our visa took a lot longer than expected. I used Skype credit to call the hotel and tell them that our visa on arrival was taking very long. When we finally arrived, the concierge was rude...

We had booked two balcony rooms about a month in advance, but at arrival we were told one of them had plumbing problems. So we were given a cheaper room with a window to a wall. From the alleyway below, that the window opened to, there was smell of burning chicken skin that never went away and it was horrid....

We've stayed in cheap accomodation in Vietnam and had great experiences, but sadly this wasn't one of them. To preface this review I will say the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, the location is really convenient and the wifi is good. The bed was comfortable and the hot water system worked well. However the room itself was dingy and...

We booked the Hanoi Gortage for three nights initially at the start of our Vietnam family holiday. Travelling with a group of seven including a toddler of 21 months, two rooms here were ideal. The Gortage organised an airport transfer for is at a very reasonable price. Jenny, the manager could not be more accommodating, organising a street food tour...

The location is in walking distance to: Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, the women's museum, police museum, turtle tower and the Lenin memorial. Staff were very nice and helpful, and the included breakfast was great. Only con was...

Arrived to the hotel very late at night due to a delayed flight. Had to wake staff up and given a taken to a room. It had 3 beds in it like an old school dorm. Shower was next to toilet so when you showered, the toilet and floor was saturated. Broken electrical leads for power. Limited lighting. Just really...

Good overall, at that price you don't expect much more. Room was clean, staff were nice, location is good in the Old Quarter. Overall, it was a good starting point for our trip, but we eventually moved on to a slightly nicer hotel around the corner from Gortage.

Unfortunately we ended up over here after the Splendid star hotel had problems with the electricity. They gave us some discount, we appreciated that. There is a lift in the building. The room is big enough and we liked it very much that it is quiet in the room. The bed was ok. On the other hand the airco made...

We stayed three nights in the family room and had a great experiences in this lovely hotel. It is located in the old town of Hanoi which is the most interesting part in the city. Upon entering the hotel, the atmosphere is very cozy and the staff give a very welcoming services. The outside street gives a quiet and relax...

No room for me although I booked already. They changed me to Aquarius Hotel Hanoi. Furthermore breakfast in Hanoi Gortage Hotel is poor. 提前訂房了,但是當抵達後卻說沒房間 早餐非自助式,簡陋 Not recommended to stay here You can have other better options in Hoan Kiem, Hanoi. 不建議住這裡
