Our first stop at luminous was amazing, they arranged affordable airport pickup very smoothly via AirBnB, would recommend to contact them directly for bookings. As we were very new to things they explained everything from where to eat great local food and how to get the right prices while shopping(haggling). Located in the middle of the old quarter this is...

The room in this hotel is clean and neatly prepared. Staffs are very helpful, friendly and confident English-speaker. They are very knowledgeable and keen to help if they don't know the answer of which you are looking for. I'll stay this hotel again if I visit Hanoi!

Worst hotel ever. Seriously. Friends get their money stolen from the safety deposit box ($100 each) and when this was taken to the manager, he laughed and said we were making things up and that their hotel is only family hotel, where no one steals. Basically, it was offered that we robbed ourselves. Then a male receptionist started screaming at...

This is more than expectation . It was mid-size hotel in the old quarter yet it was quiant and cozy in the hustle city . The staff of the hotel was always performing very professional service as it was like others in Hanoi . Recommended strongly .

It was an unpleasant experience. My money was stolen and the staff reacted in a very weird way. First, they started lying about the police saying they were on vacation (I found them myself). Then, they were just biding my time knowing that I was leaving in a couple of hours. So, be careful!

The hotel is disgusting. It's completely infected with rats, the room and bathroom smells terribly. Me and family booked three rooms: In two of them we found bitten cookies when checking in. One of them had a DIRTY SOCK under the bed. But worst of all was when my sister woke up and found a CHEWED PANTIE, which was inside...

This is rather unique. The hotel doesn't look of much from the outside, merely a standard midprize hotel in Hanois Old Quarter, well situated yes, but what surpriced us was the amazing, professional and kind staff. On our travel around the north of Vietnam we had to return to Luminous because of the sheer joy of feeling truly at home...

Left two envelopes with dollars in the safe box. Thank god they did not take all the money, just $100 from each envelope. I guess they were hoping we wouldn't recount the money. No result, police here is helpless. AVOID THIS HOTEL!!! PLEASE AVOID!!!

We read great reviews about this place so booked for 2 nights. Amy at reception was lovely and very helpful but that's were the recommendation stops. We were told we had been upgraded to a city view room. If that was an upgrade I would have hated to see what we were going to stay in! The jacuzzi bath didn't...

We stayed here for 2 nights, the hotel is small but clean and comfortable, a good boutique hotel. The breakfast is buffet and it offers a large choice of fresh fruits, pancakes, rice, meat and dumpling. The room is very small and noisy, but it is comfortable and clean. The staff is kind and they helped us with tours
