Travelling as a family of four this hotel really met our every need because a) I could book in advance by email two double rooms - one with balcony over the street, one less expensive and less lovely but both ensuite. There was less than 2 metres between the two rooms and they were the only ones on the landing....

We were put on to the Win Hotel by a colleague who uses it as a base while working in Hanoi from time-to-time. If you are after a welcoming, safe and very clean one-star place superbly located in Hanoi’s Old Quarter (just two minutes walk from Hoan Kiem Lake) then this ten-room establishment should fit the bill. We stayed there...

I always have a hard time assigning a rating to this type of hotel --- cheap but it's not the Four Seasons. The value is excellent. No elevators --- we were on the 5th floor. The room was adequate. The location excellent if you want to really experience the city.

travelling with 2 young kids, staff terrific and friendly, greeting us by name and going to great lengths to accommodate fussy kids palates. Highly recommended, very quiet despite 100m to lake and in the midst of old quarter.

Can not fault the communication with Win Hotel - always very prompt at answering emails. Great location near main lake; street outside incredibly busy but hotel well insulated from noise. Rooms vary - we had a Junior Room and a Deluxe Room as we were travelling with my 78 yo mother-in-law. There is no lift so this was a mjaor...

We stayed at the Win Hotel for 4 nights during the month of January, 2009. The other reviews that suggest that this hotel is on a quieter street are true - however, quieter does not mean "quiet"! One of the restaurants across the street seems to favour the early morning blaring of Abba's "Happy New Year," and there was some...

The Win Hotel turned out to be a fabulous choice for us. We stayed 3 nights and everything was great, from the room to the friendly staff. The location is perfect, right in the heart of everything but down one of the more quiet streets. Hanoi's old quarter is on your doorstep but the Win Hotel is a sanctury when...

We stayed at Win Hotel Hanoi in Dec 2008 for a total of six nights. I contacted the hotel by email myself and Nghia the young manager always answered my queries immediately, this responsiveness was indicative of the thorough and professional way he runs this small,(probably 14 room) hotel set in a beautiful tree lined street near Hoan Kiem lake...

After the chaos and noise of Saigon, we really wanted to find a quiet place to stay in Hanoi. The Win Hotel's web site hooked me, and we lucked out with their great location - just off Hoan Kiem Lake but on a nice, quiet side street. Nghia welcomed us and was happy to show us what rooms he had...

We recently stayed here for 2 separate nights in between excursions to Sapa and Halong Bay, during end September and early October, 2008. We chose a standard double room and it was great value for money. Nice, clean room with hot water, air-cond, satellite tv, breakfast and FOC use of 2 Internet PCs in lobby. Note that standard rooms have...
