We were meeting our world traveling daughter here. We contacted the hotel in advance to see if she could check in as we were arriving much later than she. They were quite accommodating and allowed her to check in with her credit card and ID. She was able to shower and settle in and explore the city a little before...

We had a great stay. The hotel is really clean, and had a great central location. We liked that we could walk around the city easily. They advertise that they provide an airport shuttle, but really it is simply a public bus that stops outside. While the bus transfer was extremely easy and cheap (30,000 dong), we were expecting a...

Oh dear. This hotel is getting worse. Hadn’t stayed here for a year. The disco nearby is definitely getting much louder, going on for later into the early morning. The two nights I stayed here, the dull throbbing beat from the disco can be heard on either side of the hotel, even up as high as the 20th floor, up...

This is the second Melia I have stayed in and I am very impressed. We stayed in a Level Suite on the 19th floor. The suite even had a bidet and was graciously spaced. The club lounge was wonderful and had all the amenities we may have needed. Their fresh juices are worth the upgrade! The buffet breakfast on the...

This is a very good property in a central location in Hanoi. Big, spacious & well maintained rooms and an excellent service. There was also an Indian restaurant in quick 10 mins walk from the hotel. All in all a nice stay. I had traveled on Business and was quite satisfied with what Melia has to offer. Much recommended.

We decided to stay at the Melia hotel in Hanoi and it turned out to be a clean, friendly hotel. We stayed in a suite 1601 with an adjoining room 1603. Pro: 1) large suite with all the amenities for either work or play. There is a desk with all the hookups to a large tv. There is also a...

A superb Hotel, stayed for 2 nights in April with 2 young kids, fantastic conor suite room, quiet, comfortable and very well appointed. Staff 2nd to none. Because of jet lagged kids decided to eat in on the first night, really good buffet covering both western and eastern diets. Be warned however it is very expensive with kids, particularly when...

This is a lovely hotel. It has lovely staff, a terrific breakfast (you have to try the cinnamon butter with the pancakes; try them every day), and, after wandering around Hanoi, it was clear to us that the location is the very best: not far away as on the lake, and not crowded, as in the old town. They are...

“Choose a higher floor with good views. Ask for the quieter side. Highly recommend a Level Suite or Club room. It's worth the upgrade.”

“ask for an upgrade to the apartment-sized room with the extra toilet. The additional charge is absolutely worth it. The regular room is a bit dark and small; the large one is exactly twice as big, and has a living room, two bathrooms, and lots of light.”

“Lovely rooms all around. Remember to roll down the TV shutter when in the wash room when you use it.”

“It was perfect. I I have nothing more to add. Lovely furnishings and well appointed bathroom. Although I did not use it, the mini bar looked well and appropriately stocked. The room was always very clean and tidy each night.”
