The Hilton Hanoi Opera is truly in the center of everything. It's an easy walk to the lake and old quarter. The breakfast buffet is in a fabulous setting with a wide variety of food. It really shouldn't be missed. After a little negotiation, I was upgraded to a beautiful room on the upper floor with access to the executive...

As a business travellor, the location is pretty nice. However, even considering the old age of the hotel, the room condition especially the bed mattress need to be checked and improved. I couldn't feel that hotel staffs are friendly enough, either.

THe hotel is well located and a little secluded from Hanoi's Old Quarter, where everything happens. You can still walk to and from the Old Quarter. Nice room with a good view. We were initally placed in a smoking room so make sure you clarify if you or not a smoker when you reserve.

Room was small but amenities great. Fantastic buffet breakfast. Location was good. Staff friendly and helpful. Walked to central town area. Tricky crossing streets but just be careful. Hotel was busy for holiday but no problems. Very well run

We were in Hanoi over the Christmas holiday and chose to stay here for its convenience. The hotel took good care of us, and our group--including three couples and three teenagers--was comfortable and well-accommodated. We had a festive Christmas brunch there, and we were steps from almost everywhere we wanted to be in Hanoi. It's not the top hotel, but...

There's something to say about its location... Walking distance to the lake and old quarter, yet when it comes to the point when you're ready to go to sleep, you can't hear a single motorcycle / car horn (and in Vietnam the horn is used in excess)! The rooms are a great size (extremely ample for families with kids), beds...

Great position next to the Opera House in central Hanoi. However, avoid like the plague around new year as it is right opposite the biggest new year party in Hanoi. Hotel is an old, badly maintained, typical example of a Hilton hotel. Everything feels cheap, tacky and thrown together in a hurry. No effort made to use the space in...

Dear DiceyMorris1978 Very disappointing feedback. I am sorry that we failed to meet your expectations during your trip to Vietnam. Our feedback is generally pretty good and at times we have been guilty of not delivering a consistent level of service which we address. I genuinely think we are a better than your experience and accept we do not suit...

We stayed here for 1 night and the rate with breakfast was reasonable for a top end stay in the city of Hanoi. However, this is a business hotel and is a bit dull. The swimming pool is outdoors and not particularly nice to swim in, there is an indoor jacuzzi and gym. Breakfast was good and plentiful, lots of...

Stayed at the Hilton for 2 nights. It is a great hotel with really friendly staff and good customer service. Breakfast was varied and nice. They are child friendly, rooms are spacious & extremely well located. The lounge and lounge staff are exceptional. We also found a great jazz bar right next to the Hilton which was an added bonus....
