Attended a so called prestigious function at this hotel on 30 Nov and was extremely disappointed with the range n quality of the food. The service staff did a great job but the chefs in charge of the food disappointed many guests. This was Hilton n not any other hotels.

Hotel lobby was nice. High ceiling. Friendly staff. However the rooms were rundown. The carpet was dirty. My bed had a huge downward hump. Other than that, Hilton always has good quality amenities. The breakfast area was good.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hanoi Opera Hilton. It's in a great location, affordable and the staff are fantastically friendly. It's also nice not to be located in the midst of the old town noise and business.

We stayed at the Hilton Hanoi Opera from September 16 to 20, 2016 during our 50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration Trip to Southeast Asia. With a very impressive lobby, the hotel is located next to the beautiful Paris Garnier-inspired Hanoi Opera House. Since I am a long standing Gold Hilton HHonors member (for over 20 years), we were given an upgrade... More

It's not worth staying here. Get a boutique hotel on agoda if you want to stay in the old quarter. Pay 10% of the Hilton rate. The food in the exec lounge was not delicious. The room was dingy and didn't have good outlets for plugging in laptop, phone charger, etc. In serious need of renovation.

Location of the Hotel is pretty good. Most of old quarter atteactions are within walking distance. Actually I saw many hotels right in the middle of tour attractions. But I'm doubt if i can fully take a rest at those hotel as they are exposed to extreme street noise. So I could say the location of the hotel is great.... More

We stayed here in mid-November 2016. Three of us shared a room, which was no problem since the rooms are huge! We wanted to spend lots of time in the Old Quarter of Hanoi, wandering the streets and enjoying the food. We looked at staying in the Old Quarter as well, but went with the Hilton on the recommendation of... More

We enjoyed staying at the Hilton Opera in Hanoi and found it well located for our first visit to the city. Many of the interesting and historical places to visit are within easy walking distance, as are the shops, market and eating places of old city area. Aside from location our room was also good and staff very helpful. The... More

We stayed here for the last 2 days of our holiday to Vietnam. It was the most expensive place but lacked the finishing touches that some of our other accomodations had. The lobby area is impressive, but hallways and landings have obviously old carpets. The room was spacious but with windows that don't open and still had old style hairdrier... More

Dear HelenCopestake Thank you for your review. I was disappointed that you found our breakfast to be below standard. I will review, as we generally receive very positive feedback. Our renovation will be in 2017 and help improve the overall appearance of some areas that may need attention. Kind regards Andrew More
