Everything about the Golden Silk is great. But the warm hospitality and attention to customer service makes this hotel outstanding. I regularly travel to Hanoi and always return to this hotel during work or holiday. Right in the heart of the action, a place of tranquillity. A particularly special thanks must go to Tracey, Emily and Lee for all their...

We stayed in Golden silk for 4 days, the position is really great, very center of Hanoi. Staff is very friendly, breakfast are not bad, rooms are big and comfortable. I rate this hotel with 4 because inside room wasn't clean enough: somewhere dusty somewhere dirty.

We went to this restaurant just after arriving during a storm. It was pleasant and staff happy, efficient and courteous. The meals were above average, fresh and well presented. We enjoyed ourselves. Only area not so good it was close to the bar area that was a little packed and noisy. I think this was probably not a common thing...

This hotel was a calm sanctuary amongst the mayhem & noise of Hanoi. Our large room had possibly the biggest bed ever and a balcony allowed us to look down on the mesmerizing chaos below. The art & furniture created a quirky and indulgent atmosphere. Warning: watch out for the 2for one 'Kamikaze' cocktails on the rooftop bar. Dangerous!

This hotel is in Old Town of Hanoi from five minutes from the lake. Then, the staff is very available and professional. The rooms are big and have all the comforts. In this hotel is possible to book excursions. Good for a holiday in Hanoi!

I stayed at Golden Silk for 9 days during my business trip in Hanoi. I think it's a good hotel with good location, just 5 minute walk to Hoan Kiem lake and there are many amazing shops nearby, especially in silk products, these are very typical products of Vietnam. Breakfast at Golden Silk is great, they change menu everyday and...

Confused about all the positive reviews... The only positives we could see was the location and friendly staff. The rooms are tiny with no windows and smell bad. One bed had 2 long black hairs in it. The food wasn't good. The roof top bar was hideous with stains on the carpets and walls. This place is in desperate need...
