Hotel in great location close to Hoan Kim Lake and shopping/restaurants. Easy walk to sites of interest ie Hilton Prison, War Museum, St Joseph's Cathedral etc. Served a decent breakfast albeit it limited but with eggs to order. Staff friendly and helpful. Room a bit dated but adequate and was clean. Excellent position. Would stay here again.

Hanoi Amanda Hotel is conveniently located at the heart of the Old Quarter. Free wifi is available at the whole hotel and the staff are friendly. Foreign exchange is also available at the lobby. Overall stay is very good (for what it's worth), except for the rats running in ceiling which could be a little disturbing when you sleep.

We enjoyed our time at Amanda hotel in busy little Hanoi with my wife and two children. Mr Toms was awesome arranging our tours from there. Close to massage , markets and everything. Food was great in the hotel. Price was good for what we got. We would go there again.

We travelled in a group of three. We contacted hotel staff via email in advance, he was really helpful. By the time, we got there, he offered a lot of help and staffs were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and hotel was located not far from tourist places and train station. Breakfast was also good. Would recommend this hotel!!!

Nice hotel with great service. Not only stay, they offer many helps - for both within Hanoi and even outside Hanoi. Very helpful. If we could come back to Hanoi, we have no doubt to stay here again. Most recommended hotel!!

We spent one night here and that was a huge mistake. Being a huge football fan, we wanted to see some matches, and we were misinformed about the TV channels in the room and possible bars around the hotel where the matches are broadcast. But it is just one thing among the many... The room was in a terrible condition....

We stayed here for one night (thank god it was only one night!) in August 2016. The rooms look nothing like the pictures as you can see from my photos. The rooms are dirty, smelly and old beyond repair. The bathroom was old and very dirty. Breakfast was very poor with a limited choice. We have been travelling through SE...

The remote of air conditioner broken at the 4th day. I heard some mouses ran over the bathroom ceiling and the ceiling was broken. No safety box and laptop inside the room as previous room (I moved once because I had checked out to go to Halong Bay). They never changed the bedcover sheet for five nights, even I asked...

By far, this is one of the best western and affordable food tat we can find around the Old Quarter Street. Spag Bolognese is super awesome tasty! and the chicken nuggets are not that oily at all. We love the food here. We also found out that chef is only 17 years old! Super talented.
