We had a lovely stay at Little Hanoi Hostel 2 and with help from the lovely Tam also booked a neat cruise on Halong Bay. The room was clean and tidy. The wifi was a little fickle in the room but works fine in the dining room areas and also there are computers to use downstairs so not really a...

We recently stayed at Little Hanoi Hostel 2. We spent a total of 10 days there, travelling back and forth to Sapa and Halong Bay. It's fantastically located by the lake and with easy access to St Joseph's cathedral and the old town. We had the most fantastic time at the hostel and believe that this is due to the...

We stayed here for four nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Free fruit, tea and coffee, great complimentary breakfast and in room snacks and a clean and tidy room. The location is great, a highlight for my wife and I was sitting by the lake talking to local students (they are keen to practice their English)...Saving the best for last,...

We loved it here as it was right on the lake which was our favourite part of Hanoi...far enough away from the old quarter to be out of the noise and bustle but close enough to walk in when you need. Staff were very helpful and gave some great recommendations. On our return here (after Ha Long Bay) we were...

Little Hanoi 2 is a great base for exploring central Hanoi. It's not in the hustle and bustle of the old quarter, but its not too far either. The rooms were clean, and the breakfast, tea, coffee and fruits were sufficient to start the day. We had some hiccups, a leaking AC unit forced us to change rooms, and one...

Can't believe comment about unhelpful staff. I feel I must respond. The staff at Hanoi 2 are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble & they go out of their way to assist you. Even making sure they carry your luggage up & down. We've been Hanoi 2 twice & we're treated same on both occasions. As for hotel, the location...

First off, I highly recommend coordinating your airport pick up with the hostel ahead of time. It's $15 and much cheaper than taking a taxi that will most definitely try to rip you off. Not too much to say about the hostel itself - it was basic but very clean and more than enough space for what we needed. The...

Our room at 4th floor and they said will help us to bring the suitcases up and down but the staff seemed reluctant. The room is tiny and crowded with furniture. Good thing about this hotel is the breakfast is quite good.

Great hostel, the staff is amazing. They were all friendly and willing to help in any way they could i.e. taxi's, trips etc. Tam treated us like family from the moment we got there. Location is excellent, right by the lake and many sites. Breakfast was good and the rooms were basic and clean.

Have recently stayed here for six nights and we have booked two future visits. It's a really wonderful small hotel/guesthouse. The staff were all fantastic - very friendly, happy and helpful, all of the time. Special mention for Tam who, from the moment she met us for the first time, when our taxi stopped outside, and greeted us like we...
