Did a visa run out of bkk, first time in Vietnam !! Stayed in old quarter, hotel was fantastic tucked away in this nightmare of city. Breakfast good as was there roof restaurant. Great staff. Fantastic mohito bar across street, barman made some wicked cocktails at ridiculous cheap prices. Recommend "hanoi transfer service" from airport, dont try and find transport...

Not much else to say except the staff (especially Mr Kinichi) were absolutely brilliant and professional. Hospitable and accommodating. The room was fabulous. Hope to return to this wonderful hotel if I'm ever in Hanoi again. Definitely recommended ;)

Stayed here recently for 1 night - always a bit wary when going for the budget option but this place appeared to have good reviews. There are several hotels within the group with similar names - Rising Dragon Hotel, Rising Dragon Villa hotel - so make sure you take the address down before travelling here. The hotel is very conveniently...

We stayed here for 4 nights 10-14 July. The taxi from the airport cost 500vnd, the return taxi booked through the hotel cost 300vnd. When we checked in we were made very welcome and got given a city map with main attractions highlighted. You were able to walk to the lake and prison museum from the hotel. The rooms were...

Our room at The Rising Dragon Palace Hotel was modern and charming with a huge balcony overlooking Hanoi. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful when it comes to recommendations for restaurants, shopping or arranging trips around Hanoi.

I would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Hanoi. It was clean and comfortable and above all, the staff were extremely warm and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. In particular, Ms Trang (Sandy), Hieu (Liverpool), Hien (Jenny) were extremely professional and knowledgeable; they provided us with excellent recommendations of the activities to do and sights...

We stayed for three days at this hotel before and after going to Halong Bay for an overnight boat cruise. The hotel is well located and in central to most areas with in walking distance the female Concierge spoke perfect english as with most of the staff and was a great source of information and advice. The hotel restaurant on...

My friends and I loved this hotel. It was clean and modern. The staff were very friendly. I went for breakfast, which is unusual for me, and it was pretty good. There's a restaurant on the roof which is also good and nice nice views over the old town. The air conditioning in the rooms was the best I've experienced...
