This was to be my first visit to Hanoi and Vietnam itself and I was skeptical in expectations. After several permutations and combinations, I zoomed in on May de Ville City Centre as it was nearer to the place where my conference is to take place. Right from picking me up at the Noi Bai International airport on the 23rd...

A comfortable hotel in the French Quarter, rooms were clean and had plenty of space for luggage. Had a massage here which wasn't the best compared to others in Vietnam. Has a nice roof top bar for a few quiet drinks and good views of the city.

Personally, I loved this hotel because of many different aspects. First, I liked it because they had big beds, and huge rooms, Next, I really liked their bathrooms because they were gigantic and - depending on which room you are in - can have a bath or shower in! (Please note that the water is not drinkable), After this, I...

It's not the most centrally located of the May de Villa hotels but the taxis are cheap around town and easily flagged. The hotel had spacious rooms and the beds were comfortable and clean. The bathroom was a little pokey in our room and the hot water seemed to run out in the shower after a while. A busy hotel,...

This is your average hotel. It was clean and the food at the restaurant was good. Average. The hotel is in a great location. Wonderful place to sit outside on the steps and watch all the people and traffic go by. Very interesting place to sit outside and people watch. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend...

I stayed at the May De Ville City Centre Hotel with a group for 3 days. The hotel is clean with a very efficient multi lingual staff. The tour operator warned us that in Hanoi it is all about location, location and to have the ideal location downtown you must put up with the traffic noise and constant honking of...

Nothing fancy, but totally ok. Good breakfast buffet with eastern and western fare. Rooms and shower were on the smallish side, but certainly large enough. Staff was pleasant and reasonably bi-lingual. Location is great if you are doing city type activities. Some what difficult to walk, as there are a jillion scooters often parked on the sidewalk, but that is...

Sited just outside the old quarter which is only a few minutes walk away (20mins to the night market street). Its sited in a side street with nothing much to write about here. The staff are all pleasant and helpful, money exchange is provided as is free wifi and complimentary bottled water in rooms. Rooms have a large TV with...

Stayed here for 3 nights. Staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. The hotel itself is in an ok location - not the best street to walk out onto with a "butcher" right next door - but inside it is clean, modern and comfortable. The room we stayed in was spacious, clean and the bed were quite comfy! Can be a...
