This hotel is probably the dirtiest I have ever been to. There was a thick layer of mold on the pipe in the bathroom, dirty plates on the floor and they didn't even changed the sheets between guests! They just straighten them!! But this place has great reviews because people got their money back if complaining if they wrote them...

Very basic hotel with okay rooms, which are a bit damp and smelly. People were smoking and working on their computers in the breakfast area, so that was not a comfortable space at all. The owner seemed really arrogant and got us a bad deal on our Vietnamese SIM card without telling us what we actually bought. Instead he said...

I have to admit- we did not actually stay here and so I cannot speak to the comfort level of the rooms, but we stopped in here during the New Year one night after a mishap with an allergic reaction, and the staff member at the front desk was one of the most helpful, wonderful, and patient people we have...

We had a great time in Hanoi thanks to the staff! We were in a great location to enjoy Hanoi street food and drinks! We personally like a firm mattress and the room was beautifully clean with a hot shower! The staff gave great recommendations for food and coffee and shared ideas about the various tour company's on offer! Thanks...

We booked and paid online for one night in the Green Street Hotel, however upon our arrival, we were informed they were fully booked and sent us to their friend's hotel, which was about half the price (after cheking online). We returned to the hotel and asked for the price difference to be refunded to us, but whilst we were...

I stayed in both a private room and a dorm room here. The private 2 bed room: Beds were comfortable - not too hard, not too soft and a good size. The bathroom was clean and the shower was hot. There were no windows which I heard people complain about, but personally I loved. It was actually dark when you...

Green st. hotel is located in the heart of the old quarter, in walking distance to everything. The rooms are nice, comfortable and clean but the best thing about green street hotel is the staff - they really go out of their way to help you. I would definately recommend staying here when visiting Hanoi.

Buddy and I tried to get a room at the Hanoi Backpacker without a reservation and sadly couldnt get in. The front desk recommended this "hotel" because of its convenient location. Thats basically the only thing it has going for it.o Checked into the dorm, which is standard for any backpacker. The bathrooms though... jesus. Sink not connected, shower all...

Centrally located with plenty of dining options around. My room was nothing much, but great value...would have liked a window though. Only downside was the reception asking multiple times a day if I wanted to go on a tour. Also overcharged on published web nightly rate but the taxi was waiting for the airport and no time to argue.

Two friends and I went to vietnam in July, we landed in Hanoi at 2.30am and were greeted by a very friendly taxi driver who we had arranged through the hotel. Ian was our favourite host on the holiday, he greeted us warmly at 3am. We arranged our tours through Ian, one one night two day trek to Sapa and...
