My first night was pretty good. A convenient location with much to do in the area. My room was Spartan but clean. The bed was hard but comfortable. The linens crisp, towels fresh and overall very clean. The staff was very helpful and spirited, they seem to enjoy their work. I checked out and returned after four days of trekking....

Huge room. Huge bed. Pretty new, very neat, very charming with granite floors and counter tops. Real wood furniture. Very high quality constructions. Bedding Ok. Pillows terrible. Location superb. At the center of Old Town. Within 100 meter radius: Water puppet show, Hoan Kiem lake, Burger King, KFC, Popeye's, Dunkin Donuts, Domino's pizza, and International Corner. Next to 4 stars...

I stayed here for a 4 night stay while I came to Hanoi on a business trip, and it was an overall good experience. We enjoyed the room and the staff, always smiling and very careful. The room was quiet, clean and quite nice. The hotel is just perfectly located and we found it quite cheap

Excellent location in the middle of the old tow. Spacious and clean room, excellent service, and they provide airport pickup as well. They opened up the restaurant 1 hour early 05:30 so I could have breakfast as I had to check out early. They were very helpful find outside restaurants. And the Wifi is fast!

This was located in the perfect area for shops, markets and food. From the moment we arrived, the service provided was exceptional. They were well versed with the English language, provided us with great areas around to check out and found us some great spots to eat. The rooms were spacious and clean and it wasn't very loud at night...

I stayed here for two nights on a business trip with a small group. As already mentioned, the location of this hotel is great - right in the old town and at the heart of the Hanoi action! However I didn't find the staff as helpful as other reviews, they were nice yes but I wouldn't say they were incredibly...

This hotel has recently been renovated and is a lovely place to stay in the heart of the Old Quarter. The hotel reception staff are really friendly and very helpful. The hotel is small but very clean and well designed. We stayed here on 2 separate occasions during our stay and both times really enjoy the friendly hospitality, the sensible...

Stayed two nights at the recommendation of Linh Tours - excellent tour agency in old quarter. Staff could not be more helpful. Had problem with bank overseas needed to get ATM late a night. No problem, said the young guy on the door, hop on my scooter we'll sort it out! Had room with a lake view but all rooms...

Stayed here twice in Nov. with the team from Habitat for Humanity, a volunteer organisation building for the needy. This was my 4th trip to Hanoi in 7 years so I reckon I know the place pretty well. This Hotel is perfectly located, right in the heart of the Old Quarter. It's small and unpretentious but very comfortable. The construction...

We stayed here in June and unfortunately the noise from construction works next door was really really loud. So loud at times we couldn't hear the TV or converse with each other. I complained several times and was just given an - its not so bad - comment in return. (The noise started really early, woke us up and finished...

“The rooms at the front of the hotel look out on the busy Hanoi streets - the back of the hotel gets a view of a roof. Not really a big deal, but, its always nice to see the hussle and bussle of people going about their lives in old town.”

“City View apparently are bigger rooms. Also, being at the back, no noise, but its not a noisy street in any case.”
