We booked this hotel for 2 nights. When we arrived at the reception, the boy told us that our room had a problem with the air-condition that needed to be fixed. So he arranged us to another hotel, where the shower in the room did not well function, for a night. The next day we returned to Golden Land Hotel...

Stayed here for two nights with my wife after our trip to halong bay, The room was ok, but not really sound proofed, and the street is very noisy, The front desk staff was attentive, but it was a strange feeling to find them sleeping on the floor in the morning ....

Initially we were offered 1st floor really dodgy room, really dark and too close to the street... However after negotiation we were given 6th floor room ( be aware that the lift works till 5th floor, so one floor you have to take staircase which was not bad) We liked this room! Really cosy and the bathtub/shower with hot water...

It's a lovely, comfortable place to stay. It feels more like a guest house than a hotel. VERY spacious rooms, comfy beds, clean bathroom. The staff are so helpful and friendly, they went out of their way for us. My one criticism is the breakfast: you get fresh fruit, a couple of fried eggs and toast (yum), but then a...

This is not really a hotel and more a guesthouse. There is only 5 or 6 bedrooms and the reception area of the hotel is tiny. 3 of the hotel staff sleep on the floor inside the front door each night and its not nice walking around them when coming in late. We felt very uncomfortable staying in the hotel...
