Had a stay booked this summer and sadly had to cancel a couple of months before due to Covid. The booking was fully refundable but couldn’t get my money back despite chasing for ages. Twice they took my details and said they’d processed the refund but it never turned up in my bank account. Then they stopped responding. No idea if they’re still in business but if they are don’t give them your money

Booked a 3 night and I will admit a non refundable stay in August this year. Come covid, told hotel I would have to cancel as my flights had been cancelled and even if they hadn't I could not enter Vietnam anyway. We both eventually agreed that a reasonable compromise would be for them to partly return my money as it was outwith my control entirely not cancel. This was after many emails, they took my credit card details for the refund, then simply failed to return my money or my further emails. This case is now with my bank to claim under a chargeback. All other hotels I dealt with in Vietnam entirely understood the situation..all except these thieves. Be careful who you deal with during these testing times.

This hotel was perfect for our stay in Hanoi. It has a great, central location, which is only a few minute walk to train street, and cabs quickly arrive if you wish to go further afield. The hotel itself is beautiful; it is boutique-style and has elegant fittings, with everything finished to a high standard. It was always impeccably clean, and the rooftop pool area - which, although small, as is common in Hanoi - is a particularly nice area to relax. The rooms were also comfortable and spacious, and sound-proofed to the noise of the busy streets! The food in the hotel was delicious, particularly breakfast, which offered both a menu to order from and a gorgeous buffet with a wide selection of hot and cold foods. The staff were, however, the aspect that made our stay so unforgettable. Every employee was kind, and friendly, and would always go out of their way to help you to the best of their ability. They regularly offered exciting drinks and nibbles - free of charge - whilst you waited in the lobby, and were also happy to deliver drinks up to the pool. On numerous occasions, they went above and beyond for us with their service, and I would go as far to say that they were probably the best I have encountered for an average-priced hotel. I would absolutely recommend this hotel. Although I believe it is family-friendly, I didn't see any children there, and so think it is perfect for couples who are looking for a very calm and relaxed atmosphere.

11 out of 10 - What a great experience from beginning to end! Hotel Majestic delivered what they promised. Front line Manager & Hostess Mary provided all that was needed, and more! We loved the Vietnam experience, enhanced by the thought of our luxurious place of respite, after busy days in the midst of the viby city. Everything about the hotel was great - Mary provided us with top notch “personal service” . We will definitely book this hotel again when visiting Vietnam in the future.
