The hotel has a good location near the lake. You can easily reach good restaurants and the lake by foot. We had two different rooms, of which the first was not so good. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is okay.

For the price and location this is a very good hotel. It's about a 5-minute walk to the lake and the old quarter is just around the corner so most central attractions are just a stroll away. The staff are friendly and helpful and allowed us an early check in (around 9am) after we arrived by train at 5.30am. Rooms...

The hotel was a standard basic double bed en-suite room, and not very spacious, but was sufficient for a business trip. It was clean, the bathroom had a shower cubicle, but the separate wooden bathtub was tiny! The location in the old town was great, and within easy walking distance to the Lake and the markets. Myself and my colleague...

don't stay on the 7nd floor, the rooms were damp, it also smelled damp. Rooms on 5th and 3nd floor were better. The "Viet View" was a brick wall once and a rooftop the second time lol but it's only for sleeping so not really a problem for us.The bed was a bit too hard for me. The rooms are...

A small cozy Hotel tucked in the by lanes of Hoan Kiem. they have a good restaurant on the top floor that gives you a resonable view of Hanoi. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Although the rooms are rather small, its a good place to stay and see the real Hanoi even on foot.

We stayed here for one night while in Hanoi. It is perfectly located in the old quarter of Hanoi, very close to Hoan Kiem lake. The breakfast served on the top floor of the hotel was quite good, friendly service and a great view of the city. Very cool little wooden bath tub in our room's bathroom!

Viet View staff went above and beyond to assist with arranging a variety of helpful matters from local suggestions, intercity transport and accommodation, and reliable information. The room was very clean and spacious! Will come back for sure!

My friend and I shared a twin room. The room was clean but old and very small. The biggest problem with the room was the power points. Plugs would fall out if not held in. The bathroom was in great need of a upgrade. Both the shower and the wooded bath had alot of mould. The breakfast buffet was fabulous...

The location could not have been better! Being located in the old quarter truly made our experience that much more enjoyable. You're only a 2 minute walk from Hoan Kiem Lake. If one is looking for a true Hanoi coffee experience I strongly suggest egg coffee at Cafe Pho Co, which is located near the lake. The staff were all...

The hotel is located walking distance from the Lake of the Restored Sword (Hoan Kiem Lake). Staff were very helpful with information. Quite a lot of shops & street food available in the area. It is the perfect location, if you want to catch the weekend night market. Rooms were very cosy & they had wooden tubs in the bathroom,...
