My wife & I stayed at the Hanoi Charming Hotel for 5 days in February during our 3 weeks in Vietnam. Mr. Duc , Loan and the rest of the staff were excellent. After leaving Hanoi for a few days our return to the hotel was like returning home. The room, kitchen & reception were spotless, the room that we...

We stayed at Charming for 3 nights and were very very pleased with everything in the Hotel. The staff are excellent helping with so many arrangements for us and all with no fuss or problems. The room we had was clean, comfortable, and had a very good bathroom. The whole presentation of the accommodation was of a high standard. I...

Feeling tired & weary upon arrival into Hanoi, we were delighted to be made so welcome by the friendly & helpful staff at the Charming Hotel. The location is awesome- down a little lane- Yen Thai street- in the midst of the Old Quarter. The room was comfortable & clean- with all of the usual amenities (air-con, TV, fridge, decent...

We found this hotel on the net and were impressed with the location, cost and helpful staff. The rooms were a little bit on the small side but nice and clean and fresh. Bath towels should be renewed and a bathmat included. Free internet was included. Laundry service returned in one day and very cheap but you need to identify...

I chose this hotel having weighed up the reviews and costs of hotels in Hanoi, and I was very happy at my choice. I arrived in Vietnam by myself planning to meet a friend the next day, and was welcomed warmly by the staff. They made me feel very comfortable and were more than happy to help out with any...

We stayed at Charming for our first two nights in Hanoi. Our plane was delayed by 3 hours and we arrived well after midnight fully expecting the requested car to be MIA but we were pleasantly surprised to see a driver with our names on a placard. Check-in was seamless but we obviously woke someone up to unlock the front...

My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights in Jan during a backpacking trip all over southeast Asia. Like our hotel in Bangkok, this room did not have a window, but it had sufficient lighting so it was ok. We had booked an executive room at $25 USD/night and it was excellent value. The room wasn't very wide, but...

This hotel is strategically located with just minutes walk to Hoan Kiem Lake and the Old Quarter Area. The staff is really friendly and offers help just when you need it! The room is tiny but it's warm and cozy enough for us to sleep in. The breakfast pho is yummy and the staff will gladly help you to get...

While many hotels boast being in the old section, this tiny hotel has the added benefit of being in a very quiet alley with only bike access (no cars) and seems to get only local traffic. We stayed five nights (incl. Xmas eve) and had a suite that by western standards would clasify only as a standard room. Having said...
