Me and my girflriend booked 3 nights here originally but ended up staying for 5. We paid 25 dollars a night on booking.com for a lovely double room with private bathroom (and bath) and a nice little balcony overlooking the bustling old quarter street! It also contained a large telly, wardrobe, desk, mirror etc. Aa la carte breakfast was included....

Stayed here a couple of days after flying in from Singapore. Very nice small hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. If you not already have planned your tour to Halong Bay or other attractions they will happily assist - and have of course connections to get you on the right tour the very next day. They even made sure...

This is a great small, affordable hotel, run by a very friendly and helpful family. It's also in a very good, central location, just 1 minute's walk to St. Joseph's Cathedral and another minute to Huan Kiem Lake....where you can jog early in the morning with the neighborhood exercisers. My room was cleaned daily, had international cable TV, a small...

Overall quality was good. The room was clean, big and nice. The beds were a bit to the hard site, but in a comfortable way (i got several injuries in my back so it's i big deal for me) - i slept great. We got in TROUBLE. We've booked some train tickets for the night train to Hue. But when...

We stayed for 3 nights at Hanoi Lucky II, having previously spent 3 nights at Hanoi Chic - a similar budget option in the Old Quarter. The Hotels are similar, however Hanoi Lucky seemed better value for money as the room (with a balcony) was actually very large and was kept clean. The place is in desperate need of a...
