Spent a total of 7 days at this hotel and the newly opened Cinnamon Hotel. The location and rooms were very comfortable. being across the way from one of Hanoi's older churches was nice as there was plenty of activities to watch when schools finishes with everyone picking up children. Pure bedlam but fun to watch! The newer hotel has...

We stayed here for a night in April 2015. The hotel is ok, cleanish, in a lovely area but below average for the price. We had booked a cathedral view and when we arrived they said this wasn't available so we got a city view which wasn't very nice. We also weren't offered anything for the extra we had paid...

I enjoyed my 4 night stay at the Cinnamon, but I think it's somewhat overpriced. The staff here are exceptional - can't do enough to help. Breakfast is very nice, but be sure to only order Vietnamese coffee. I say overpriced because my room was so dark, and also because the bathroom is of the wet style (no shower enclosure)....

Loved the location of this hotel - close enough to the action without being too close. The rooms were gorgeous and the staff could not do enough to help us. They even housed a suitcase of ours for two weeks! Very personalised attention and help with whatever we needed booked or arranged for our stay!

Nice stay in the hotel. We had the Basil room on the second floor. it was a bit small and a bit noisy with the street there. But the staff is lovely, the hotel is clean and overall it is pretty fair hotel.

Thoroughly enjoyed our two stays at Cinnamon (2 nights when we first arrived in Vietnam and another 2 nights at the end of our travels). The staff go above and beyond to help you with anything you need, and all with a smile. The rooms are very sweet with lovely features and you couldn't be much closer to everything you'd...

We highly recommend the Cinnamon Hotel in the old quarter. Firstly the location is excellent: located in a relatively quiet leafy lane way by the side of St Josephs Cathedral and very close to the Lake and some great cafes, restaurants street food and bank. The rooms are nicely appointed with each room having a different spice name, they are...

We stumbled across this hotel as Agoda didn't hold the room we booked through them. From the moment we stepped in, Shauny greeted us with warm smiles and the staff could not do enough for us. Great location opposite the church and close to the lake. Complimentary foot massages included too. The only downside is its a little noisy from...

I can kind of see why this hotel gets good reviews - the staff are delightful, really friendly and helpful. The location is great and breakfast was nice. But it's just so noisy that nothing makes up for four nights of poor sleep on holiday. Maybe we're very light sleepers but the cathedral bells ring every 15 minutes in the...

The Cinnamon Hotel is in a great location! Opposite the cathedral it is in a prime location to access all of Hanoi's sites- the downside is that we were woken each morning at 5am by the cathedral bells - they last for 5 minutes, but still, its not entirely pleasant being woken at that time. Our room was quite small...
