The hanoi old quarter hotel is extremely well run. Van (cloud), the receptionist, and the other workers whose name we didn't get were extremely helpful and courteous without feeling overbearing or cloying. The room was clean, nicely furnished. The breakfast is delicious and we were even treated to dinner in the lobby with the staff to celebrate the Tet holiday.

Very well located with easy access to the Airport. Walking distance into old quarter. Excellent service.A little dated but what do expect for the price it does the job. Stayed there twice this year and will be back in December.Paul Walker.

We have stayed two nights in this hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. They tried to offer us some trips, but we preorganized everything by ourselves, so that was fine. Within minutes you are in the centre of the old quarter and you have a lot of food and drink options. It is directly located at the end...

At first I thought I liked Siagon better because the people seemed friendlier. I had never been this north in Asia before. Quickly my stance changed. The street food is amazing! So many little ally's to explore with all kinds of street delights. pho pho pho pho If you eat on the street it's easy for two people to be...

This hotel is situated in a great location of Hanoi. The night market is in a nearby street. The assistance provided by the staff was remarkable. For the price I would recommend this place. It is located on a busy street. The breakfast was tasty. Yes, it is an antique hotel but I found it clean.

Stayed at Hanoi Old Quarter hotel for 2 nights. When we first arrived our first impressions weren't great. Very dated and shabby looking lobby, bit of a strange smell too. Friendly English speaking staff though helped us check in. Our room was the same as downstairs - minus the smell luckily. Very old and in places a bit grubby. But...

We decided to stay here due to the very positive Reviews on Tripadvisor. Here is how we see it afterwards: Positive: -The staff is friendly, that means especially a boy and girl that are there most of the time are very helpful. However one guy (he mostly suits up more) is naughty. We tried to avoid him if he was...

This hotel offers 5-star hospitality for a budget price in a lively part of the Old Quarter. We stayed there December 23, 24 and 27, 2014 before and after our short stay in Ha Long Bay. Wall, Steve, Cloud and their staff took excellent care of us (like family!) and arranged airport transfers, a city tour, a 2 day/1 night...

The staff is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel for people that are first timers to vietnam, because it not only offers great value for very cheap rooms, but also the staff helps you with what you may need. They booked all of our trains and buses around vietnam, helped me getting a sim card for my...

When my friends and I arrived at this hotel we were worried - the outside looks old and the hotel itself didn't feel overly welcoming. Luckily for us, we couldn't have been more wrong. The staff here are wonderful and always made us feel right at home. I especially loved the breakfast and the cups of tea made for us...
