I've stayed at the Tung Trang Hotel a few times now. Located in the Old Quarter, it's nice and central to many of the local sights, but also a little bit away from the backpacker party zone, which is kinda how I like it. Staff are friendly and always happy to help out. Sure, it's not the Sofitel Metropole, but...

We very much loved our stay at the Tung Trang Hotel in Hanoi. The Hotel itself was tucked away from all the traffic and noise of the busy city in a quiet alley filled with colourful markets and local Street Food. We felt that the Hotel was very homely and welcoming with great service by the staff. Any question or...

This guesthouse is placed in a quiet and very small, in the middle of the cosy old center of Hanoi! The staff is always in for a nice chat and always willing to help. And the breakfast made by grandma is a recommendation worth! The rooms are clean and nice. The beds are okay! If you want to stay in...

Good quiet location on the edge of things with a temple across the street. 2 computers downstairs. Hosts were fantastic and Grandma makes a mean breakfast! Room was clean and quiet. Great A/C. Highly recommend as a haven in a busy city.

Tung Trang is family run and they really make you feel at home. Everyone is very friendly and willing to do anything to help you. The location is excellent - right in the thick of it BUT quiet as well. I had a room on the 5th floor with a balcony and view. Bed firm but comfy, tv, bathroom -...

What a wonderful friendly hotel! I can see why this place has so many positive reviews- we choose here because of that exact reason and we weren't disappointed! We stayed here for a total of 7 nights and they couldn't have made us feel more like part of their family. Small sweet hotel with all basic facilities covered. We stayed...

A small family run hotel, with charming balcony rooms at a very reasonable rate - plus a delicious breakfast cooked by 'Grandma' and served at the family table, which serves as a great spot for meeting and chatting with fellow guests. Location perfect - can walk to all major sights as well as explore the Old Quarter by night. Staff...
