Stayed here for four days. Solo traveler. The room is quiet and clean. Window provides plenty of sunlight. The desk and chair are a solid wood design. The queen sized bed and mattress were comfortable. Each day the room was cleaned. The front desk staff (the family owners) were helpful and I enjoyed waiting in the lobby for my friend to arrive. The hotel is a little bit outside of central zone, and it is on a busy street, but that was fine for me. The price of the room is a good value and I recommend staying here. If you want bigger rooms, the hotel also has this. There is an excellent restaurant about 200 meters toward the city center on the same street as the hotel. The restaurant name is Trong Dong and it serves both vegetarian and meat dishes.

As long as there's Thien An hotel we will be staying there. It's an easy and comfortable place to be. The short walk to town is always pleasant but it keeps you away from the noise and bustle of town. Breakfast format is still the same...which means always good. Lots of fruit, break, cheese, eggs...plenty of everything. If you want to know anything else, read my other reviews, I've said it all before!

Thien An Hotel Room clean and tidy. Beds comfortable. Bath Room clean, tidy and modern. Shower hot. Hoteliers very courteous and kind. The best thing of all is they have a decent classical guitar and a piano for people to play. Any kind guitarists visiting might want to bring some fresh guitar strings. I would recommend this Hotel to people who don't mind a 15 min walk into town.

Nice & clean rooms, within city center distance to get to the market. Location is suitable even for family members. Should be there again for next trip. We prefer local food so we enjoy different local restaurant.

We arrived in Da Lat very early in the morning due to taking the overnight bus from Ho Chi Minh City. Even though it was 5am, we were greeted warmly and shown to our room promptly. Breakfast was simple, but delicious; eggs cooked to our preference (fried for me, scrambled for the kid), bread, fruit, yogurt, cheese, ham, coffee or tea, and delicious passion fruit juice. The family has a very sweet dog that wanders around and looks like a big cuddly puff! I almost took off one star for a small problem of ants going after our toothpaste, but the owner definitely earned that back when he helped me communicate with the bus company. They were sending a shuttle, but I was having a difficult time understanding when and where. So when I came downstairs to check out I asked the owner to call them for me, which was very kind and helpful of him. Noise levels were totally fine. I could hear people arriving home in the hall, but once the door closed it was quiet. My one complaint is that I couldn't get the safe to work. Overall, we had a very nice stay, not super fancy, but definitely met our needs quite well.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay at the guesthouse a lot. We were welcomed by a very cute and friendly dog, which made us feel at home straight away (we missed our own dog). The rest of the family that received us was also very welcoming. It was especially nice to have a little chat while having an abundant breakfast that gives you enough fuel to explore DaLat. The room (superior double) had everything we needed and was very clean. It's situated at a busy road, so also be prepared for a little noise. The guesthouse is situated about 1km away from the city centre, so you shouldn't mind a little walk when staying here. Speaking of, we went uphill behind the guesthouse passing a buddhist temple just before sunset, which offered us a great view! Also the street across the road parallel to the main street is very nice and quiet, showing you many colourful French-inspired houses.

We loved our time in Dalat also because of our stay at Thien An Hotel. Rooms are tidy and spacious, the personnel is really easy going and always ready to help. Breakfast is huge! Fresh fruit and veggies, bread, eggs, ham and more will be waiting for you every morning. For a cheap price you can have your laundry done, rent a scooter or join one of the many tours they organize. A special mention for the fluffy friendly dog welcoming you every time you enter the lobby, that gave a home feeling to our stay. Thumbs up! :)

We were in the family room at the highest floor with a great view over the City. The room was clean exept of some dirt which came from a gap in the ceiling. The bathroom was wonderful. Shower with cabin. You could see that the owner wants to fulfill western Standards. But is was extremely loud in the room, because there were 1cm gaps between all windows. The bed was really good, but you couldn't sleep longer as 6am because of the noise. Breakfast was good. But it seemed that you can only get one drink which was served by the Manager. The Manager himself seemed to be offish. The Staff was friendly and the manager booked us a Ticket with only 20% commision. The room was about 22$ which was ok.

Clean, comfortable hotel room with ensuite at very reasonable price and with friendly service from the manager/ owner. We had to leave early to catch a flight so an early breakfast was arranged for us (without us asking!) and he advised us that it would be cheaper to agree a price with taxi driver rather than running a meter and he arranged all of this for us. The only negative was that the shower doesn't have any division from the rest of the bathroom (except for a curtain) which left the floor wet after a shower though we have found this to be relatively common in Vietnamese accommodation. Definitely recommend!

We have stayed in this Hotel the second time and I can recommend it to everyone else. The owner and his family are so kind and friendly and they will support with every need. The are bikes motorbikes and bicycles for rent. A common complementary internet cafe and the lobby invites for get togethers. The owner also arranged parking for my car overnight. The breakfast ist so blentyful, there are fresh fruit juices tasty tropical fruits and the local banh my is so tasty. There is a piano and a guitar in the common area and many books and travel guides. I will stay in this Hotel on my next visit to Dalat.
