Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was a surreal experience. This is an amazing property built using someones far out imagination. There are rooms to look in to but its the paths and bridges connecting the house together that is the most amazing. Great experience to see. We went late afternoon, a few tourist bus loads of people there at that time but it was fine.

This is a fabulous place, so beautiful and creative. The rooms are a blast to stay in if you pick one of the “crazy rooms” . We stayed in the Ant house. It was room enough for couple and quite comfortable considering the unusual design. It was clean and well cared for the 4 days we stayed. There will be tourists swarming around all day which actually adds to the fun. You can easily shut the world out with well placed curtains over all the unusual windows and have all the privacy you want, but understand It will be noisy at times . In the evening a staff lit a fire in our fireplace which took out the chill and dampness. The staff are all so lovely and helpful, smiling and proud of this unique work of art. DaLat is a vibrant city and this fun spot added more to our visit.

A unique place to visit if you are in Dalat, it is pretty abnormal in architecture and design. It is pretty fun but nothing that can give you a a WOW sensation. Certain staircases can be frightening if you are not comfy with height. Generally a not too bad place to visit.

Went to crazy house in June and it was not overly crowded. We stayed one night in the Bear room and wish we would have booked it for another night. The staff was very helpful and arranged transportation to the airport for a better price than we were able to get for ourselves. I can’t overstate how great it was to stay here. If you’re in Da Lat you need to stay here.

Expected a novelty, but instead we got a thrilling heart pounding afternoon! The sheer heights of the walkways, steepness of stairs, low (or non-existent) guard-rails, combine to give you quite an exciting fright! Note - if you're afraid of heights, you won't get to enjoy most of what's here. Be very careful with the kids here (let's be honest it's an accident waiting to happen) BUT I'm also glad some genuinely unique places like this still exist, which haven't been watered-down. Recommended!

Thought this was really cool and would love to have a party here. Heaps of interconnecting bridges and psychedelic rooms. Would’ve loved to know a little more about the ‘how and why’ but everything was in Vietnamese - even the English section of their website and QR codes. Lol

We booked one night at this place just for fun and wish we had planned to stay our whole trip! The accommodations, while quirky and intended to shock and amaze, were surprisingly comfortable. The bed and pillows were so soft and the shower was AMAZING! Nowhere else in Asia have we experienced the heat and pressure like we got from this shower. A weird focal point but a big deal for us. The accommodations were only outdone by the staff. We were greeted at the door by a friendly young woman who made the check in a breeze. She gave us lots of interesting information about the hotel and the woman who built it (is still building it as a matter of fact - she says she will keep adding as long as she can!). After showing us to our room and making sure we were comfortable, she left us to rest after a long bus ride. She even offered to build a fire for us in the fireplace which each room comes equipped with. Every staff member we encountered was so kind, helpful and friendly. We even got a nice chat and hug from the woman who made us breakfast the next morning. (Best Pho yet!!) One particular member of staff that deserves a special shout out is the young man who worked that night we stayed. We arrived back at midnight or so after a night on the town. After realizing I had stupidly misplaced my wallet, he, without hesitation (or even request from us), got his personal vehicle and drove my husband back to the area where we had been to look for it. When that failed, he and my incredibly understanding husband, reviewed security footage to see if they could ID the Grab car that brought us home in case I had left it there. While they were unable to do so, the Grab driver actually found it in his car and brought it back to the hotel (I am convinced there are no nicer and more honest people than the Vietnamese!) So, to sum up, Crazy House is an incredible place to see and visit but an even better place to stay. Seriously. You won’t regret it!!

The crazy people that work here, especially Jimmy excellent English and super helpful, were great. I had the Kangaroo room small but fun :) Yes its true some rude visitors will rattle your locked door with the red do not disturb sign in 3 languages. I was aware of this and it was no big deal. Western breakfast was OK but as boring as the place is interesting. Glad I stayed. Dalat Chalet across the street is a pretty little restaurant with good food. Glad I stayed a night :)

The house is more like a skeleton with multiple tiny stairs leading no where. Heaps of Russian Tourists and very cramped plus busy. No advice given as to the plan or the purpose of the building. We found a coral cove with a stage, some accomodation that was available which offered no privacy, numerous gift shops with knitted items for sale and some cafes as part of the complex. The space for the building seems to be on a double building block however the various levels of the building add a huge amount of space for the architecture. Some areas not finished. A cross between Hansel and Gretel and War of the World. A second visit is not required.

A cool place to see some interesting architecture. this certainly wouldn't be allowed anywhere that has decent health and safety laws. You have to be very careful where you tread because one wrong move and you are hitting the ground below. We enjoyed the short time we spent here but please build more toilets! Two is not enough for all the visitors. They were doing building work while we were visiting so will be great to see it in a few months time when it's even bigger!
