Our first room faced the street and the window didn't shut properly so we asked to move to a quieter room. The new room was adjacent to the stairs, but noise was never a problem. The breakfast buffer offered a huge range of western and Vietnamese food. The service was excellent as was the food we had. A lot of...

We flew to Dalat which is inland and the area is a lot cooler than the coast. The hotel is very colonial in style, very friendly staff, our room overlooked the main road and was extremely small, buffet breakfast was ok but have had better on our travels through Vietnam , Dalat is worth a visit but 2 days there...

I came to this hotel by way of introduction from friends on a golf buddies trip. They all raved about this hotel and its local history dating back to French Colonial period. The feel wasn't comparable to that of the unforgettable Anna Mandara Resort in terms of charm and historical nuances but then again it held its own. The rooms...

As you can tell, staying in Du Parc is like staying in a 1850s French Indochina. The hotel is dazled with classical Frnch architecture, including a very cool antique elevator. But because its very old fashioned, its not like the typical hotel. Don't expect the staff to smile or ask how was your day. The rooms are very small and...

I got the afternoon tea deal for 90,000D, which consisted of a sandwich and a selection of desserts. I wasn't impressed with the sandwich but the other desserts were really good. It is just unfortunate that the portion size is so small.

I felt like I stepped back in time in this hotel. Beautiful old elevator and lobby. The hallway to my room felt spooky...maybe it's because of the dim lighting. Room was clean and smelt of lemongrass on first day then it smelt oddly stale when the fragrance wore off. The housekeeping staff wore French maid outfits which added to the...

Du Park Hotel has a long history as a principal mountain refuge of French colonials from the summer heat of Saigon. New ownership recently completed a beautiful renovation and service is very professional. Our corner room with two exposures and nice views of the city was very comfortable and beautifully done. A good buffet breakfast is served in a large...
