A friend and I booked a little bungalow with fan. Rooms were clean. We spent 2 nights during low season for a fair price. It was nice to hang out at the beach right on the area. Restaurants and market in chinatown are close-by.

Stayed here for 3 nights in Oct. The place has a very relaxing atmosphere which I really liked. The food was really good too. It was nice to have some English dishes on the menu After eating lots of lovely Thai food during our stay. The fish and chips was gorgeous and the ribs and Burgers also and very reasonable...

We went to moonhut after the full moon party in koh phangan to relax and detox. It was very chilled and we spent the days in and out of the sea and playing pool in the public lounge. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here however disappointed with the lack of wifi in the rooms and the cost of drinks in...

Sawasdee Michael and many thanks for your review. We do try to keep a 'chilled out' atmosphere here which we have found the guests we have enjoy. Regarding the wifi, as you saw while you were here, our bungalows are very spaced out and cover an area of over 6 rai (1 and half acres). I did have, at great...

I took the fan room, was ok. A bit small.. In the evening went to take a shower, and to my surprise, there was only cold water!! That's absurd! 650 bat! And no hot water?! Why was I not told this upon check-in?? Needless to say I left the next night to 'by beach resort's, same price, much bigger room,...

Sawasdee Guy "Why were you not told this at check-in?" "Because everyone else except you can read." A full description of all my rooms is freely available on the internet. Our own website, Booking.com, Agoda and all the others. They all state that 'non-heated water showers' are provided in the cheapest fan bungalows of which you booked. If you are...

We booked the house on the beach.... it's litterally 20m and you're in the sea! The house is amazing on the outside and inside and the staff is really friendly too. Near to laundry and shops. I would come here again!:-)

We stayed here for 11 nights and have just arrived back home to Scotland today and it's safe to say, we really didn't want to leave. John made us feel so welcome and took the time to get to know us. The staff, 1 word...Wow! The were so attentive and always made sure we were well looked after. The location...

Sawasdee Claire and Bruce. So happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. Hope the Scottish weather is not a complete contrast to Samuis'! Anyway, I have passed on your words to the staff and it was our pleasure to be able to accommodate you. John

Lots of positives can be taken from our stay at this resort. Stayed here for 3 days and didn't venture out from the resort for the entirety of our stay. U just don't need to. The huts are situated in amongst trees and the whole place just teems with tranquility topped off with a massage booth in amongst the huts....

We ate here 3 times, after finding the restaraunt as we walked along the beach. The restaraunt where we were staying was not open. The food was good, staff friendly. It is a typically chilled out holiday affordable beach restaraunt. Only downside was awful smell on walk up to the doorway from the lane, which is very off putting.

Hi Zoe and thank you for your review. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed our menu. The smell you are talking about comes from the small 'river' to the side of the property and at certain times of the year rotting vegetation causes the 'aroma'. Also that river is tidal and at the moment you might have noticed that they...

Perfect place for us to stay, really friendly helpful owners and staff. Bungalows cleaned daily, happy 2 hours not just one, great food, perfect beach and all huts within 30 seconds of beach. Nearby markets. And lovely dogs in bar too. John the owner really went above and beyond to make our stay fantastic.

A lovely spot, away from the ring road and yet so close! The restaurant offers a wide choice of food and drinks, and it's so chilled and relaxed! a wonderful beach completes the main area. Options of a\c bungalows and fan rooms makes it easier to choose moonhut if travelling in a small budget! Definitely recommended.
