The staff were beyond helpful, arraigned rides and even packed lunches for an early excursion. These are the nicest ladies I have met in Thailand. The room is very rustic wooden doors that do not seal tight against bugs of the weather. If you are looking for a country feel in the middle of the city then this is your...

We enjoyed our stay very much. Quiet and still nearby the center of the city. Good food, very helpful staff and nice rooms. We have to write a minimum of 200 words to be able to publish on this site. Why?

We loved it the moment we stepped in to the place it was like a slice of paradise. The lush greenery was soothing to the mind and soul. The room was quaint and cozy. A little piece of heaven in the midst of a busy city. We adored this small hotel and would certainly recommend it. The staff were adorable and the breakfasts were very good - great coffees. Each day we ordered a cappucino and each day we had different designs "styled" in the froth. The rooms were amazing and the pool area...

We stayed at Shewe Wana resort during our recent trip to Chiang Mai. I should say it was quite a pleasant experience. The service was excellent and the serenity around the resort campus gives you a nice relaxing feel amidst the city traffic & hustle bustle. During your stay do try their breakfast and lunch / dinner which though simple...

If you're looking for the new, modern, polished, urban chic then this is not the place for you. But, if you're looking for old world charm that is full of character then you'll love this place. The hotel is located a short distance east of the old town on a main road. It's easy walking distance to a 7-11 and...

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 1 night on her birthday. Absolutely stunning place. The most beautiful mini gardens and vegetation in the middle of the city I've seen, really feels like it's own world. The staff are very friendly and helpful, even flagging down a taxi for us and getting us a great price! My girlfriend tried out...

This resort is close to the old city of Chiang Mai. Located on a main, busy road, it is surprisingly quiet and offers a calm and serene oasis form the hubbub outside. Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were quaint, with echo's of french / chinese colonialism. Clean, secure and good value. Onsite restaurant was...

We really enjoyed staying at Shewe Wana. Service was excellent. Our room was delightful with many nice amenities, including specialty soaps, a mini bar & fridge, mosquito netting, etc. Loved having the option to swim in either pool and needed it because the heat was oppressive. Breakfast was great too. don't skip the coffee shop for excellent coffee and ver...

We found this place on TA and we were not disappointed. Having been picked up from the bus station (yes, we travelled there by bus), we were warmly welcomed by our driver and delivered to the hotel. We were given a warm Thai welcome complete with refreshing cold drink. The room was spacious and tastefully furnished and located in lovely...
