On our second week of eight in Thailand my boyfriend and I came here under personal recommendations, and we weren't disappointed! After a grueling 10 hour night bus from Bangkok this was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful city of Chiang Mai at leisure. The staff are beyond friendly, and always smiling. The owner Stella is always...

This place is one of the most welcoming place you can find in Thailand. Stella will always be there to help you and to make you happy. The Green Tulip is super clean and spacious. We were four travelling there and we had the room with four beds and private toilet, it was perfect for us. We were really surprised...

We shared a 4 beds dorm with my 3 travel buddies. It was super clean and surprisingly big. The greatest thing about this place is the friendly atmosphere. The staff is awesome and makes for a great ambiance where everyone hangs out in the lobby. They also serve good food for a decent price. I'd go back anytime!

We had a really fun time here and the service is fantastically quirky. While we did trust the owners they charged a lot for any extra and took a premium for anything we booked regarding tours etc. again I'd highly recommend staying and having a laugh but you'll end up paying a bit more than the room price in food...

Amazing guest house with amazing, welcoming hosts. Stella and Douglas run the guest house brilliantly, within 10 mins of arriving we had a beer in hand and the next 2 days arranged for us by Stella, packed full of adventure- elephants, zip lines cookery courses, without any hassle and for a great price! The atmosphere and vibe there is great,...

Stella was an excellent host: the hostel a nice place to stay, but the best part of staying at the GTH was Stella. Whether it was helping us find great local thai food & drink, negotiating us better rates on our activities, or whipping up whatever we wanted to eat whether it was on the menu or not, Stella was...

We stayed at Green Tulip House for 8 nights and we enjoyed our stay. The room and the bathroom was clean and tidy and cleaned every day. Fresh towels were readily available. The breakfast was basic (tea/coffee/juice, toast, fresh fruit) but was enough to tide you over till you found something more on the street. Larger meals were available at...

Really enjoyed our stay here -5 nights. Stella and the team were really friendly and helpful. Private room was comfortable, quite hard bed which I liked, big bathroom with good shower. Not really a window room- one over corridor the other over a roof but provided light. Breakfast included with toast, fruit, coffee but scrambled eggs were 45 baht and...
