No rooms in the hotel itself so we were in a building opposite. 4th floor, no lift, rundown staircase. Apparently a converted appartment. In the room, broken tiles on the floor, two lightbulbs not working, one glass (we shared), very noisy airconditioning system. The air conditioning only works when you're in the room, so on arrival about 30°C and the...

I just recently stayed at the Maninarakorn Hotel in Chiang Mai for 15 nights. I purchased my trip through Expedia and the room that came with that package was in the old residence. I upgraded to the new hotel. The room was big and comfortable, the service was great, the breakfasts were very nice with all tastes catered for. The...

After several stays in CM I happened upon this place and have stayed there every since. The main building is the best stay on the Doi Suthep side. The food is great here and the location is perfect with massage, laundry and great food nearby. There is a Jet Sip Et (7-11) next door with ATM. Short walk to Night...

This hotel is nothing special in itself, although it has most amenities you need. It is within a ten minute walk of the Night Bazaar. What really set it apart were the huge rooms in the old wing and the little touches like the Chinese lacquerware cabinets. The jacuzzi bath was in a room by itself - size of a...

We stayed in the tower building and our room was enormous, if a little clinical. We found the staff didn't have very good english and had a take it or leave it attitude. Breakfast was basic but quite good, but staff not that cheerful. Hotel is in a good position between old town and night market. Can walk to both...

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and it took that long to learn how to say the name. It is modern and really clean. The first room we were given had a non functioning air conditioner so they immediately changed our room so no problem. The room was a good size with an unusual partition in the room....

We enjoyed the Maninarakorn and our first time in Chiang Mai. Our room was on the eighth floor of the new building; clean and comfortable. The included Asian and Western buffet breakfast was a good start to our day. Reception service was courteous and helpful. Not too far from the CBD. Minimarts, travel agents and restaurants were close by. Nice...

My friend and I stayed here at the same time but had to book a room in the hotel & another in the residence. I had previously stayed in the hotel but never saw the residence rooms. Many people on this site complain about the residence rooms. Unfortunately the hotel website doesn't explain the difference between them. The residence does...

Great hotel near the old city of Chiangmai. Just a 5 minute walk to the old city center and 15 minutes to the Night market. The staff is great with a smile and very helpfull.
