My friends and I stayed at the Amata Alanna recently on our first trip to Chiang Mai, and it was about the nicest stay we've had in quite some time. The property was beautiful, the breakfast service was delicious, and the rooms were incredible! The staff was probably the best part - they suggested places for us to go during...

Amata Lanna was absolutely beautiful, the woodwork design adds a lot of character to the boutique hotel. Their interior design and furniture makes the place feels authentic. My stay was super comfortable, jacuzzi after the pool was such a treat, spa right in your room! The staffs are very friendly and informative. Couldn't have asked for a better stay in...

A small boutique hotel to the north of Chiang Mai near to the river Ping, a local temple and a short walk from the night bizarre. Consisting of only 12 rooms it is a refreshing retreat from the hustle and bustle of Chiang Mai. It also has its own small pool and wifi. The building is traditional in style with...

We loved this hotel!!! We booked it because it looked "Thai" in it's decoration etc. It did not disappoint! It is on a quieter street, but still so close to the night market and good restaurants. The pool is smaller, but located inside the hotel's peaceful courtyard. The staff were so kind and attentive. Honestly, this is such a great...

Beautiful small hotel in Chiang Mai - only 12 georgeous rooms. Very warm welcome & and wonderful surprise when we were shown to our rooms - even better than the photos that we had seen prior to booking. Rooms are spacious, v tastefully decorated in traditional dark wood & the bathroom hosts both a jacuzzi bath & a shower. Outside...

Small hotel run by lovely Isaan ladies. Recent apparent change of ownership meant payment by credit card not available. This change was not informed to us prior to arrival, despite early booking. High wall separates hotel from busy road. Quite good location.

Beautiful place & lovely staff, would definitely stay there again. The only negative for us was some other holiday makers (all Chinese) were extremely loud & totally inconsiderate of others staying there. The staff were very aware of this & tried to do what they could to minimise the noise.

We stayed at the Amata Lanna for three days. It is a small and pleasant boutique hotel. There is a swimming pool for just 12 rooms! It is very refreshing to go for a swim in the evening after a day under the hot Thailand sun. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, they gave us fresh fruit juice...

Its hard to point out anything overly wrong with here, but also it didn't really excel in anything either. Pros: Rooms where really spacious and lovely, the communal areas were nice and quiet. Cons: It was a pain to get to and from (a little too far to walk anywhere and drivers didn't know where it was) the isn't anywhere...
