Pros - Location within night baazar and old city. Room size is satisfactory and air-cond is good. Con-No lift for a 7 storey hotel. Old and requiring upgrade. Room very basic and smell emitting from the toilet outlet. Need to close the door all the time after use. Television is provided but remote does not work. Hotel does not provide...

A little off the beaten path, but still a convenient location for all to do in Chiang Mai. If you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay with a clean (firm) bed, this may be the place for you. Our bathroom was a bit tight and basic, bed the room itself was comfortable. The staff was friendly and the...

Rooms were clean bathrooms were as well. We stayed at a "nice" regular hotel and found this bathroom and shower to be better. Close to many attractions and good service. Clean towels each morning - We would stay again.

The woman who seems to run the place was the most unwelcoming I've ever come across in Thailand. Check-in is supposed to be...

I stayed at Rux Thai with my boyfriend for 4 nights before going to the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary for 2 days. Once we came back to town, we had no doubts we wanted to stay at Rux Thai again for another 4 nights before flying to Laos! The first time we got the premium room (that is just 3 USD...

This is my second time staying at Rux Thai guest house and I like this place very much. Staff are friendly and helpful. They made me feel like home.
