We visited this hotel for our honeymoon. It was several minutes away from the city and we used Grab (Uber) which was incredible value. The staff here were wonderful, lovely choices at breakfast (we are both vegan). Room was absolutely huge - we had a Deluxe Riverside Room. Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chiang Mai, the whole thing was such good value for money - amazing pool too!
A hotel of the highest standard. Courtesy of the staff, good breakfast. Location a few minutes from the city. Very luxurious rooms. This is our first time and certainly not the last. Highly recommend. We were three days at the hotel and went to another city. When we returned to the hotel again, they upgraded our room to a huge room. We were completely surprised.
We stayed at RatiLanna for 4 nights, the hotel is beautifully designed and decorated with authentic northern thai styles, there are so many beautiful details. We had a suite with over 100 sqm, the suite looks amazing, with a whirlpool bathtub, and a spacious balcony with swing & outdoor chilling bed. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good (not great but good, for us the selection is a little less compared to our resort in Samui, but of course the resort in Samui was also much bigger). The breakfast seating area is very nice, you have the river view and can choose to sit indoor with AC or outdoor. There’s all the facilities you need including gym, swimming pool, but as we had a very packed schedule, we didn’t have time for those facilities. Overall we loved it, it’s a beautifully designed hotel and we can recommend it. …
I was supposed to stay in this hotel last week but found that it was a victim of the floods - we just couldn't access the hotel. The hotel was MOST GRACIOUS and not only allowed us to cancel our reservation but also contacted Agoda who accepted the cancellation due to natural disasters. This was initiated by the hotel. What service! Will definitely try to stay there next time I go to Chiang Mai. Thank you Ratilanna staff.
Beautiful hotel along the river. Really nice rooms, fully renovated. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The food is quite good too. Would recommend to anyone coming to Chiang Mai. We also tried the spa and were really impressed. Very affordable.
At the outset let me say that I love this hotel. Located at the edge of the city in a rather unremarkable area but right on the banks of the Ping river. Designed, built, furnished and decorated in the eternal Lanna style it is extremely appealing. Reception was efficient and friendly and all the staff we met were polite and courteous, especially in the dining room. Our deluxe river view room offered a partial view of the river from the balcony and a more comprehensive view of the restaurant roof but it was definitely deluxe with many amenities, a large, comfortable bed, lots of storage space and very well maintained. The contemporary bathroom was impeccably clean with a shower, large bath and water feature. Breakfast was ok........ but dinner was excellent. There is a very well equipped gymnasium and large outdoor swimming pool. Having previously spent three days in the old city Ratilanna gave us a nice, quieter, less busy contrast and chance to relax.…
Afternoon tea was served in a nice outdoor environment with comfortable seating overlooking the river and the pool. While waiting for the afternoon tea, it was served longan juice. The serving was plenty: sandwiches, wrap, scones and small cakes and tarts. However, the bread and the scones were not really fresh. Toasting of bread and heating of scones would improve the taste. The cakes were nothing special but fine. The tea pot, cups, white napkins and the service was very good and pleasant. A bit improvement of quality of the food would make it an excellent afternoon tea experience.
Hotel is a bit quiet& located at Tha Pae area. The view is good at the side of the river. The decoration is northern style. What a nice surprise is they arranged a birthday cake for me. What a nice service 🥺 The staff service was really good and helpful.
We last stayed at RatiLanna six years ago, for the wedding of some friends, and I had forgotten what a classy hotel it is. The decor is stunning, and the property has been beautifully maintained. The use of solid hardwood everywhere is immensely attractive and ageless. I love it. We had a 1-bedroom Executive Suite for our five-night stay, and although the hotel was full for the Xmas/New Year period, we paid a rate that was very reasonable by any standards. Staff are helpful and very pleasant, the room was superb, and the breakfast buffet excellent. While the location is not central, it is easy and quick to get to most parts of the city by car or taxi, and conveniently located for travel out of town by car.
We stayed there for 10 days and used all facilities, we had dinners, lunches and room services there. It’s a big five star resort by the river but not far to the old town of CM so I consider the location to be good Rooms and suites are so big and comfy - we stayed in the river view balcony deluxe, 60 m2 - all great with beautiful bathroom, bed, balcony looking over the river Common areas are beautiful with a large pool, amazing looking lobby and dinning area by the river. Gym is large but a little old, need renovation Pool deck is a little old and small for the Size of the pool which is like a lake Breakfast was good and I would say very good for the low rate now Services were excellent throughout from checking in, in room dinning, breakfast, gym
