We booked to stay here for a few nights and ended up extending for almost 2 weeks! The staff are very friendly and can book trips/taxis if you need them. The whole hotel is very clean and comfortable. Free coffee until midday in the lobby and free water in the rooms daily. Excellent location for exploring Chiang mai by foot,...

Very good location, nearby of the shops and temples. During evening just across the street market with street food - very tasty btw to recommend food stand with soups and food stand of cowboy lady :) you will see it straight away - you need to eat there very good and cheap food! Coming back to the hotel so they...

One of the nicest things was the quiet -- as a noise researcher, I am very picky abut this! The plan for cottages in the current rear lot is exciting, but just watching the flowers grow there is nice too. Rooms were clean, and everyone was friendly -- the management spent many extra minutes helping me with everything from snagging...

Hotel location is good and very calm and clean. Major temples in the city are within walk able distance. Rooms were average, TV was not working properly. Didn't get air conditioners effect. Bathrooms are not modernized yet. Small balcony was their in our room. No locker facility in the rooms. Lift is not there so not recommended for aged people....

When we checked in we had a room with mysterious spots on our bed. We asked the receptionist to change the sheets and she gave us a new room immediatly. The new room had still little spots on the sheets, but it was in a better overall condition than the first one. The rooms are basic: everything is a little...

We stayed here for the first three nights of our stay in Chiang Mai and found the Western House Hotel to be a very pleasant place to stay. Right from the start the staff were very friendly and attentive with good English, willing to help with anything we asked, including making a phone call on our behalf to book up...

Comfortable and clean place enough, situated behind a temple. Nice bed and hot shower. Friendly staff. Not the place to socialicing with other travellers or book the trips. We spent here three nights without any trouble.

We stayed here over New Year, rooms were a good size with a balcony & clean. The hotel is just behind the North Gate, in a quiet area but within easy walking distance of most sights, restaurants & nightlife. Its also very easy & cheap to go longer distances around Chang Mai on the 'red busses'. The hotel had the...

Located at the back of an old Wat and very quiet. The rooms are clean, comfortable and simple. Complimentary coffee is available at the lobby with table seatings. We had a comfortable stay and close to a lot of eateries and shopping in the old city. Very good Wifi connectivity.

I've stayed at The Western House Hotel from the 31st of October to November the 2nd of 2015. Although I've enjoyed my stay, there are several points of improvements, one of them (most important to me) being the fact that no one at the reception would speak English. I seriously think it is unacceptable such situation on a touristic city....
