It's lovely resort hidden in the hill. Not that far from the main road in case you have your own car. There's a sign at the entrance but a bit hard to see if you arrive at night. We booked 2 rooms for 5 people to relax during the weekend. The hotel itself is beautiful Lanna tradition style. The pool... More

- Very friendly and helpful staff; - Great Resort on the slope of a hill 600 meters from the village and the main road; - Situated in a beautiful landscape and easily accessible with a car from the main road (1095 between Chiang Mai and Pai); - Very quiet, never heard so many different birds singing in Thailand before; -... I had four wonderfull days and found it hard tot set foot outside the resort, except for a walk in the surroundings. The whole place is so beautifull and peacefull, the houses are very... More

Very very nice nature vews of the resort. It was quite and peaceful. Me and my brother enjoyed the dinner under the full moon light a lot. Myself, I especially loved the fruit here. Only one terrible thing we experienced is that we missed the Loi Krathong festival on 16th Nov in the center of Chiangmai City because the resort... More

Great end to a nice trip to Chiang Mai. Might not be central for old city touring, but most of the tours available from the city are within 30 minute drive of the resort - perfect if you want to do it on your own. Staff: Jim and her father really make it the ideal place to stay. Food: We... More

We stayed at Baan Rai Lanna for 2 nights this year, as we did last year, as a break on our cycling trip. The rooms are tasteful, clean and comfortable, the manager and staff extremely kind and thoughtful, and the location is charming. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Baan Rai for 2 nights as part of a self-guided bike tour with Click and Travel. The caretakers were very welcoming and friendly when we arrived. They immediately gave us a welcome drink and showed us to our room, which was much appreciated after a long, hot bike ride. We stayed at the topmost villa which was... More

We stayed here as part of our organised two-day cycle tour with clickandtravel, so the resort was part of the tour. We were not disappointed. It was quiet, being in the middle of nowhere, and the views were amazing. The food in the evening was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. The infinity pool was good. Our bungalow was...
