Clean comfortable spacious rooms with pleasant and helpful staff. Facilities are good. Great value for money. Fridge, microwave and tea/coffee making equipment supplied. Bathrooms are adequate but not grand.

I stayed here in 2012 and between 2013 and 2016. The VB always has repeat guests, and there is a reason why. The service is utterly superb, security excellent, the rooms are clean, comfortable, and tidy, while the price is right. I too love this place, and it is like home. The restaurant is very nice, as is the cafe...

This is my fifth stay, love this place. Spotlessly clean, good security, good wifi. Rooms spacious with walk in shower. Staff are great to talk to, Usanee is wonderful. restaurant clean with good meals. Underground parking. All in all best value in Chaing Mai. This hotel closing down for one year from April 2017. But I will be back again...

I love this place. It’s a great value, and it came to feel like a home. After staying here daily for a bit I inquired about weekly and monthly rates. I wound up staying for a month at the weekly rate. The monthly rate is even lower but does not include breakfast, daily cleaning, and electricity. The staff are super...

Returned to Viangbua Mansion this year and the experience was once again 'as nice as it gets'. Delightfully sweet, caring, friendly and helpful staff, spotlessly clean throughout, an affordable and spacious deluxe one bedroom sweet, a full service individually cooked breakfast (a good balanced menu to start the day right) and a lovely lobby with a nice coffee lounge to...

Best, who worked at the front desk, was truly amazing and made our stay here. From booking a temple tour, to arranging an in-room massage, Best was outstanding and went above and beyond to make sure we had a good experience. While the hotel itself is a little far from the main attractions, for the value and the staff it...

The room was very good for the low price; clean and with a comfortable bed.. The staff was extremely friendly and they helped us plan our activities in the city and booked deals at a fair price. They have a pretty nice breakfast and simple facilities in the hotel gym. I'd recommend this place any day

As other reviews have said, the Viangbua Bua is outside the main tourist areas- a 20 minute walk or short tuk-tuk ride to the old city (100-120 THB). There is an established clientele here- older Japanese, Aussie, NZ folks. It makes for a quiet atmosphere so if you're looking for a party hotel, head elsewhere. Rooms are of a good...

Nice and clean hotel. The staff were lovely! They were kind enough to write 'I am vegan' 'I do not eat...' in thai for me so it'll be easier for me in restaurants. The chef made me vegan congee too when there wasn't anything available. Thankyou! :) Deffo recommend!

If you are just looking for a room to sleep, it's also a good choice. Spacious room with daily breakfast ( not a buffet ) Hotel is located nearby a local market where you can enjoy everything like local, local fruit and snacks. A convenience store 7-11 is also close to the hotel. Quite place as most of their guests...
