Price advertised on their company website is lower than in person and they refused to honor it. Said I needed to speak with owner and refused to give me their phone number to do so. There's nothing I hate more than liars. If you can't update your website in two years you need to check your priorities!

The room was nice and big it had a separate bedroom and a separate sitting room. They were quite large the floors creaked a bit as they were wooden. The door just had a latch from the inside and a padlock on the outside. Breakfast was included usually eggs tea or coffee (instant) toast and fruit. Look for a budget...

This place is amazing! If you're staying in Chiang Mai you have to spent a couple of nights in the teak wooden houses of Gap's. The accomodation is wonderful. It looks like a village in the jungle but in the centre of the old town of Chiang Mai. Bring hearplugs if you can't stand at night noises!

Firstly, I'd like to explain why I still give 3 stars for this place: The rooms look cosy and nice and are clean, although not cleaned again during your stay (they re-arrange duvets, empty the bin and sometimes you're lucky enough to get new towels and water). The place as such is quirky and very green and the pack of...

We arrived late at night and asked the tuk tuk driver to drop us here. He called to the owners at the gate and after conversation with them they said they were full and he then tried to take us to another hotel! The lady was very rude and just said full, full when clearly there was room but we...

Staff were not very friendly. Had to ask for new toilet paper. Bathroom looked dirty. Cute dogs on the property. Close enough to the night markets. Loud - thin windows and doors. ants on our breakfast plates. A nonfrills place, good enough for a rest.

I have stayed there for several, days on two occasions. Gone to the cooking school both times. I liked it so well that I am going again in Sept. Or Oct. and plan on staying for a month. The down side, instant coffee. The up side? Starbucks is Just one block away.

So, we arrived in Chiang Mai at like 8 AM after a lengthy flight and an even lengthier train trip. We had not booked anything in advance so we checked Lonely Planet for some good ideas in our price range (not really shoe string but not fancy either). The description of this place looked interesting so we took an (overpriced...

A great place which is centrally located; it is an oasis of sorts within a storm of activity. Walking Street is merely steps away, Night Bazaar a 10-minute walk, bars surround the neighbourhood. And yet it is extremely quiet and one could easily think they were in a small town when on the grounds. Rooms vary in price and comfort;...

The review below is bang on! This place should have pre-booking. First come first served system is insane! We turned up here at 7am and had to wait for the gates to open, then the manager to arrive, then for people to check out, or maybe not - just keep waiting, if you like, if not - the manager doesn't...
