This place is an absolute gem. It's a stunning, tranquil retreat right in the heart of Chiang Mai. The service is impeccable. This hotel is a beacon of Thai hospitality and then some. The staff are friendly and attentive. The perfect mix between helpful and discrete. We wanted to eat a lot of local food while in CM and the...

Tamarind Village is top notch in every aspect. It is situated in the middle of the old city within easy reach of all the essential sights of Chiang Mai. Once you leave the busy streets of Chiang Mai, you experience the feeling of being at a remote resort. Breakfast is wonderful as are all the culinary offerings of Ruen Tamarind,...

This is a quiet oasis in the middle of a busy city. The staff is very friendly and thoughtful, even going so far as the day before we were to leave they checked to see if we needed transportation arranged to the airport the next day. We stayed here for 4 nights in December 2014. Luckily we chose this hotel, location was great, in the middle of the city but hidden enough for privacy. we stayed at the lanna room on the ground floor. Within walking distance to famous attractions and the night market is right infront of the hotel. The spa was also great. But...

After a long train journey from Bangkok check in was very simple and we were given cold towels and a welcome drink. The staff in reception were fantastic throughout. We asked for help with booking excursions and various...

Wow. What a hotel - it is a beautiful idyllic retreat in the middle of the main road. Fabulous location with many temples and night markets within 20minutes walk away - lots of restaurants and coffee shops line the same road as the hotel so you don't have to go far to find anything. The staff are totally perfect -...

Located in the heart of the Old City of Chiang Mai is this little gem. What a find! We stayed for 4 nights in April/May. Upon arrival we were greeted by the driveway lined by amazing towering bamboo, and at the end lies Tamarind Village. Beautifully styled in traditional Thai artworks and furniture, the hotel features a lovely pool area...
