I chose this hotel for the location and Lanna Style lodgings. It's very quaint, well run, extremely clean with kind and welcoming staff. They are professionals and very helpful. I loved the tour of the wats, this was an unexpected treat that we very much enjoyed! Very informative and hands-on experience I'm really grateful for. The rooms are really neat,...

Pretty much all bases are covered with this piece of tranquility in the centre of the old city. I have been staying here since 1996 and through two owners. It has always been a beautifully appointed boutique hotel. We were greeted at Chiang Mai airport by Tamarind's wonderfully friendly May from Customer Relations who immediately made us feel welcome and...

We stayed at the Tamarind Village for 3 nights in July, interconnecting rooms for a family of 4...absolutely lovely! We had travelled from Bangkok so as soon as we stepped into the hotel, a beautiful calmness engulfs. Very serene, natural setting, calm music in the background, scent of Jasmine oils, very lovely, gentle, genuine and attentive staff that seem to...

The five of us were in Thailand and Cambodia for two weeks and were fortunate to stay three nights at this oasis of Chiang Mai. The service was warm and impeccable from start to finish. We adored our rooms and especially the king sized shower and uber modern and calm aesthetic. It was extremely quiet even though we were in...

Such a wonderful stay at the Tamarind Village. There one feels like they are in Heaven. The hotel was surrounded by a lot of Wats and Pagodas, so Buddha’s blessings could be felt all round. In the hotel itself, grounds were peaceful, the staff were very affectionate, and all our needs were catered to. The music played in the hotel...

We visited as part of a three centre holiday to Thailand - this was definitely our favourite part of the whole holiday, wish we'd had longer here. The welcome at the Tamarind Village was lovely. The place has a serenity about it that just makes you feel relaxed. The staff are open and friendly - they couldn't do enough for...

We stayed here for 4 nights in a Lanna Deluxe room, upper floor (1st floor of 2) with a private balcony. It's a lovely property which seeks to create a village type feel amid the hustle of Chiang Mai's old city. The rooms are furnished in the northern Thai style and are very comfortable. The staff were so friendly and...

So pleased we picked this hotel over the anonymous tower blocks we looked at. The minute we walked in a wave of serenity over came me. Almost alone in the pool on our first day, we could have been in a private villa. True the pool and poolside became busy in the afternoons - lots of families with young children...

We stayed here twice (1 night, then 4 nights) in a Double Deluxe Lanna room with our 11 year old son in mid June 2015. This required the use of a roll out bed however, there was still enough room for us not to feel cramped. This is a wonderful hotel and we wish we could have stayed even longer....
