Rooms and bathrooms clean and reasonably well appointed. Front desk staff was friendly (although not terribly helpful). Breakfast was free and acceptable. Very good location just across the street from the old city. Our biggest complaints were that the price seemed a bit high for what was provided, and the room was very strangely designed, with a lofted bed below...

We arrived in this hostel after a 25 hour trip from Cambodia and it was exactly what we needed: a small dorm room with a green view. The rooms are clean and cozy - I have never seen such a small bathroom! I used the shower downstairs instead. The beds were, in my opinion, not comfortable, but my travelbuddy had...

I only stayed for one night but everything was quite good for the low price we had. The breakfast (toast and egg) was good and the host was really nice and helpful. Unfortunately, the shower handle screw came off - thus the four stars. Other than that I would love to come back again!

Nice place with dorms and private rooms. We took private for 999 THB. Water, towels, soap, gels, toothbrushes included. Small terrace in front of rooms. Breakfast included as well but simple: coffee/tea + toasts/noodles. Main disadvantage was quite compact room (we are tall couple): bed on second tier just one meter bellow ceiling, with sofa and table below. Something in...

This place is brand new so everything here is modern and conform the latest standards. The rooms are very nice, the beds are good and the AC is very welcome when it's hot outside. There is a very spacious garden where you can chill, hangout, read a book or have some breakfast. Breakfast is included with your stay here. Because...

Central location close to a Tapae Gate and Sunday walking street. This is a quiet guesthouse down a little laneway, well tucked off the main drag. Nice area area to relax in the shade was a treat. Owner was friendly. Rooms are basic, we had a fan only room which was good enough for the time of year we visited....

Clean, cheap rooms. Right next to the old city, everything is within walking distance but the guesthouse itself is in a very quiet street. Very friendly owner who will go out of his way to give you advice on what to do and where to go, and a nice atmosphere when his friends drop by to have a drink.

Really not too far from the old city, a great location with extremely helpful staff willing to provide recommendations and organise activities/ scooter hire. Its ran by both Thai and French expats with a great community feel. I stayed in the double room downstairs, was clean and not too hot.
