We arrived early after getting the sleeper train to Chiang mai. The gentleman checked us in and we waited in reception as we knew it was unlikely that we could access the room. They had pain au chocolate and croissants available as well as drinks which went down very well. One hour later, we got into our room which we...

Basic but very clean rooms. Nice and quiet and a swimming pool to cool down. The breakfast options are little but good if you like croissants and pain au chocolat ;) And probably the coolest entrance path I have ever seen.

We reserved 6 nights, but we had so many problems we spent only 3 nights in that hard bed with loud karaoke music. The owner is a stubborn, unpolite person incapable of listen to his guests (he used to leave when we tried to explain our problems). we decided to spend new year's Eve in a better location thus paying...

Quiet place outside of the Chiang Mai city centre. Walking distance is 15min, cheap taxi brings you here in 6 minutes. Pool is awesome, a little cold but refreshing. The deluxe room is very very minimalistic but clean-ish. A really hard bed, but it was ok. Shower head didn't fit into the holder, but that is the only "negative" thing...

We stayed at this resort for 4 nights in total. The staff are very helpful and friendly. They speak English well so communication is easy here. There are scooters and bikes to rent to get around. The pool is large and a great place to relax. The rooms are spacious and cleaned daily. They arranged a taxi for us at...

The TR Residence is a quiet oasis. It has a serene vibe to it. Beautiful gardens, lovely pool. rooms are big, A/C is powerful and the Wifi is fast. The owners are extremely nice and helpful. The only challenge I had was there was no coffee in the morning. Otherwise is was great.

This was my second visit to TR Residence. After walking or touring around all day it was a pleasure to come back to this lovely guesthouse. Very clean, comfortable rooms and attentive staff. The owners are lovely and very helpful and informative about this area. The garden is beautifully landscaped around a very clean pool and if you prefer not...

It is a 10-15 minute walk from old town which we knew before booking and the location worked well for us. A day in Chiang Mai coffee is just outside so that's a treat. The staff here really made the place that much better! Very friendly and always happy. The pool was great and clean. The AC in the rooms...

Not sure why this place gets such good reviews...it was easily the poorest quality Thai hotel we've stayed in for the same kind of money. They have a terrible, terrible mosquito problem here. We spent over an hour trying to swat the 30+ mosquitos in our room - and they don't even provide mosquito nets, just electric bats for you...

“Ground floor rooms will be close to the pool - more privacy on the first floor. The large VIP type room has a nice balcony overlooking the pool, and a big separate bedroom and living room.”

“The slightly more expensive rooms offer a little more floor space and a small 2 seater sofa, if you don't really mind about this then stick to the cheapest room option as there isn't much difference apart from this.”
