We stayed here as booked by Wendy Woo tours. Couldn't fault anything, enjoyed great breakfasts and a few drinks in the bar at the end of the day. Good location too. First time in Thailand, we'll be back. Can't remember if we had free wifi, pretty sure we did.

We stayed at the Empress last week for 5 nights the hotel is in a very good location for the night market being a 5 to 10min walk away that said the hotel is from the facia an impressive building with a grand foyer very attentive staff although the ' suits ' could do with a visit to the same...

My wife and I booked six nights at the Empress Hotel. First impressions were that the hotel is very well maintained. We were fortunate to be upgraded to an Executive Suite on the 16th (of 17) floor. The check-in process was quick and very personalised - thanks to a very engaging staff member named Panumas. The room was large and...

This hotel is in a great location within the city. It was our first visit and booked it based on the great reviews and obviously the price. The hotel is massive and had a lot of tour groups staying there. Despite this the staff always gave personal service (they always knowledged me by name). The rooms are spacious and cleaned...

Good, clean and big rooms, shower and bathroom. They supplies shampoo, soap, tooth brush and 2 bottles of water free per day. Good breakfast, there's various types of food to eat, local and western food. 3 min walk from chabad house and 10 min walk from the night market. Close to the airport - 160 baht.

I loved this hotel! Great customer service and fantastic food! Rooms had room for improvement but were still above average. Location is perfect for walking to the night market. Would definitely stay here again.

Have to say that this hotel is lovely, the staff are exceptional and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. We stayed for three days as part of a tour and we were treated Exceptionally well, wonderful service, entertainment (local children singing carols and a singer on Christmas Eve) and fabulous food. The Hotel Manager also presented us with gifts and made...

This hotel is great both for business travelers and conventions as well as luxury holiday. I will give them a maximum score on two conditions: kick out the filipine singer in the bar. She rocks her *s great but cannot sing at all. Second: replace the airco with one not making you feel like sleeping on an airport. The service...

This hotel is great value for money we wished we had stayed here most of our trip in Chang Mai. We got a bag of goodies on arrival and we think this is a great gesture as well as the bowl of fruit after a long flight. The room was cleaned daily great. Our only reason for Marking 4 star...

We have been coming to Chang Mai and staying at the Empress Hotel for many years. This current trip was about 15 years from the previous visit. I would say the Empress is aging very well. It still is a very classy, well-kept, reliable hotel. We would definitely say the furnishings and room amenities have been upgraded and that is...
