Just had my 3rd stay in this unique hotel in 2012 - this time in April during the SongKran festival. After 10 years of visits staying in over a dozen different Chiang Mai hotels I only discovered this hotel relatively recently. I now consider it to be the best value for money hotel in Chiang Mai. Staff are excellent and...

We fist visited the PSK in 2002 and had a great time there. Time stands still for no man but it has for the PSK; it's languishing back in the last century. Sorry to say that it is looking very worn and in need of an update. The staff are still superb (as you would expect in this part of...

This huge hotel is perfectly adequate if you want a clean room out of the town. It is geared more for corporate groups and functions than the average holidaymaker. Having said that, the room was large, also the bathroom, and was clean although the furnishings have seen better days. For the size of the place, 3 lifts were not really sufficient...

Stayed here for five Nights whilst in CM. Rooms were a good size (I stayed in a deluxe Lanna suite in the new wing) and were clean. Shower could have done with a good scrub and regrout though. Breakfast was included. A decent variety of foods. Reception are not very proficient in English at all. They also ripped us off...

The staff were very efficient and helpful and the breakfast was plentyful with good food. The seimming pool area is clean and the pool itself is huge and well maintained....

This is an enormous hotel, part of a big shopping centre. It has 2 wings and here is a gigantic lobby area in the new wing where you check in. We were then taken to the old wing and had to check in again. The room was very spacious with a nice sitting area, a lovely bathroom and good view...

We booked a superior room (for $55 in December 2011) and when we arrived we were lead to the side wing which was weird. The hall to the room was very dark because only one in three light bulls were operating. When I asked why they said it was switched off during the day. Very weird, considering that there weren't...

Very big hotel with huge tourist groups coming in and out. Since it is built around a central atrium, all rooms are exposed to nosy bands playing till at least midnight, disturbing sleep. Water is never hot. Very near a big shopping center.

Lotus is a huge hotel consisting of 2 wings - the lobby for the new wing is on level 1 and old wing is on level 6. The wait for the lifts are long maybe due to the high occupancy. The structure of building is somewhat weird, the lifts are even weirder. The rooms of the old wing are spacious...

This old wing of this hotel is over a huge rambling shopping centre which is hard to get around, easy to get lost, and not such a good location. For $30 a night there are much better smaller hotels which are better located and aren't so huge to get from one part to another. Rooms are aged and okay in...
