Going on a 4 day golf trip up to Chiang Mai, we chose the Hotel for location and value for money. Not all of the lifts were working most of the time, and they seemed to be too small for the size of the Hotel, I got a room overlooking the pool on the 10th floor, view was OK but...

Dear Lazin Thank you for your stay with us and your post on Trip Advisor. The hotel is changing the 3 elevators at the present time (one by one) . This means only 2 are working. The location of our hotel is certainly very favourable. Our own house band has been reminded not to play too loud and anyway they...

We travelled for a family trip to Chiang Mai and reserved a total of 6 rooms at the hotel. It was a 3-night stay. The hotel is located within walking distance to the night bazaar and several inexpensive massage parlours. Whilst the rooms are clean, they are old and carry a musty smell. The bathrooms are worn with some family...

Dear Dionne Thank you for your post on Trip Advisor and your stay with us. Our location is certainly a big plus, whilst our rooms are in need of modernizing. Our owning company has plans to do a full renovation later on this year. During your stay only two lifts were in operation, as one is being replaced with a...

The lifts are one of the quirkinesses of this old building, but other ressources make up for this. The staff is professional and offer good service. There is ample space for breakfast, you just have to find a table outside or in the Shabu Restaurant. Abundance of food items and even more if you ask for it (cheese, oats, etc.)....

Dear Charlotte Thank you for your stay with us and your post on Trip Advisor. We appreciate your detailed description of your stay with us. Yes, the lifts are certainly the most modern, however since a few days, all three are in operation, the third one being a brand new one. The other two will be replaced within the next...

We stayed two nights at The Imperial Mae Ping Hotel which has a perfect location; just next to the night bazaar and within walking distance to the main attractions. The pool also invites for a nice break however the setting is rather average. Breakfast buffet was good with a very broad choice of Western and Asian food. The rooms were...

You can tell the long history of this hotel once you stepped in the corridor and entered the room. There is a strong smoking smell in the corridor and you can see gaps between the room doors and the frame. The good thing is the location.

This hotel was very crowded. There was often only one elevator out of three working so there were long waits for an elevator and it was often very crowded. The restaurant was very crowded at breakfast and there was nowhere to sit. I also had recurring issues with my room card not allowing access to my room so there were...
