For a solo-traveler, I actually felt a bit awkward staying in this hotel alone. EXTREMELY romantic atmosphere. Adequate staff - no noteworthy attitudes among the workers. Very clean and safe. Food at restaurant was a bit of a let-down. Got a rash on my legs from using the bathtub- it was my own fault for deciding to use a bathtub... More

I was impressed even before I stepped foot on the property. As I was traveling with my mother who has mobility issues and my brother I had a number of questions about the facilities before I booked. All questions were answered promptly and when we did arrive they were expecting us and had gone out of their way to accommodate... More

Arrive here during Songkran festival in April. Upon arrival we were picked at Airport by hotel transportation. I have visited Morocco and was surprised to see a hotel in Thailand with a unique Moroccan architecture! Our room was upgraded and it was superb, with a view of the river which flows next to the hotel. We had our welcome dinner... More

I stayed here for a few days and really enjoyed every moment. Great staff- couldn't ask for more, very comfortable bed, adorable little garden and the thai massage to end the stay, was perfect. Good wifi throughout the hotel area too. Recommend to others without hesitation.

We spent 4 nights here during Christmas holiday in 2015. This lovely Morrocan style hotel is located by the river. Scenery was fantastic....esp at sunrise and sunset. It is far from the maddening crowd, yet easily accessible to the vibrant night life in the city if one wants. Transport is convenient and not expensive by Taxi or TukTuk. The environment... More

We spent nearly 10 days in February and I am glad we chose this place over the others. Great value for money, excellent service from the staff that is ever willing to help, reasonable breakfast buffet, great view of the sunrise, great fitness centre and quality massages at an affordable price. Only thing I wished for is a better internet... More

Nicely appointed room with a sitting balcony over looking the river and the the landscaped grounds. Two swimming pool areas, with ample loungers available. Nice quiet atmosphere and just a short drive to the centre of town. Hotel offers free one way shuttle several times a day to different location which was great. Breakfast has a nice selection of hot... More

Lovely hotel with a special Moroccan touch. A unusual but quit nice combination of the Arabic hotel style with the famous Thai hospitality. All rooms are facing the river where you can see a temple on the other side. Really nice to sit in the garden at night and enjoy a drink.

Our experience at the Sheik Istana was nice. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Our room overlooked the Ping River. Only issues with the room were the water from the shower was all over the bathroom floor and AC was a bit loud. They have a nice pool, fully equipped gym, and food at the breakfast buffet was very good... More
