I thought this place was much nicer than most reviews let on. The foyer area is quite lovely, with a big koi pond, restaurant and indoor pool. The room was clean and spacious. However, while most staff were very friendly, we were taken aback to be told about a beer special and then told it was "Thai only" when we...

We booked paradise lodge through the thai booking office, as a package deal. On the pamplet it showed a gorgeous hotel with a clean swimming pool, mahogany furniture and luxurious rooms. When we arrived it couldn't of been further away from the images if it tried, first we were greeted by a pack of 7/8 feral vicious dogs which were...

We got booked here through a travel agent in Bangkok and felt conned as soon as we arrived. The place is run down, there are wild dogs everywhere surrounding the hotel, the room had literally hundreds of mosquitos flying around, the staff seemed uninterested in guests, the room was depressing with a concrete floor and a broken table as the...

we got booked into in through an agency but never stayed one night. Staff was more than unfriendly and the hotel seemed more like a prison stuffed with weird random things and garbage rather than having a welcoming atmosphere. If you got booked into it - try to get your money back by not checking in. Instead let them show...

Hotel is okay, room was quite big but no closet, very quiet, with small TV, A/C. Hot water in bathroom, but the sink water flows on the ground ... The area is crapy, quite far from old city. Staff is okay, breakfast also. Forget about the swimming pool.

t alshen you walkthrough the doors and look around it seems relatively promising, u til you start speaking to the staff who are as useful as a hole in the head and are always busy on Facebook or talking to another colleague. WiFi is limited to the entrance and the room consists of smelling of damp and drains. It also appears...

We unfortunately stayed here for 3 nights after being booked into it by a travel agent in Bangkok. Receptionists not very helpful and never have change of notes etc. The rooms were not exactly welcoming with concrete flooring, horrible thin sheets on the bed and a dark curtain. The first time I tried to open the curtain the curtain pole...

Paradise is more like a prison than a paradise , both from outside and inside. I have made a last minute booking right before New Year 's Eve and unfortunately it was one of the few hotels in Chiang Mai which had still rooms available. Reception and lobby reminds building materials warehouse. The décor of the lobby very primitive, outright...

we got this hotel as a flight and hotel package as the package of two costs less than the flight itself (5300 RMB vs. 6400 RMB from Shanghai), so we actually skipped the hotel for two nights and stayed very close to the old city (top garden). we moved here the last evening since we could not secure another night...
